<![CDATA[Seloucus Gedzbal Patasik, NPM. 16.11.1001.3509.262 Thesis Title - "Community Perception About The Existance Local Wisdom Related to the Transfer of the Capital to the Province of East Kalimantan", under the guidance of Dr. Hj. Futum Hubaib, S. Sos., MM as Supervisor I and Mrs. Sumarni, S.Pd., M.Pd as Supervisor II, State Administration Study Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University August 17, 1945 Samarinda. This study aims to determine people's understanding of local wisdom or local wisdom. The author conducts research using mixed research methods. Types and sources of data used are primary data derived from the results of questionnaires and interviews with relevant parties and secondary data from valid books, journals and the internet. Data collection techniques were carried out by distributing questionnaires to the community in Tenggarong Subdistrict as well as interviews with cultural figures and the government, and reviewing the literature through valid books, journals and the internet. The data is then elaborated with the SPSS technique, where problems are described based on facts and information that are linked to each other. Then find out about people's understanding of the local wisdom of the Kutai people. The results showed that community perceptions of the local wisdom of the Kutai tribe in Tenggarong sub-district were positive or very good, in the sense that all aspects that became indicators including local knowledge, social processes, and educational value of local wisdom had a positive tendency, in the sense of maintaining sustainability national life, local wisdom should not be seen as a threat, but should be seen as an asset that is expected to be able to play a role as a source of wealth and a strong foundation to maintain the identities of the Indonesian nation, through the transfer of the capital, the advancement of local wisdom or the local wisdom of the Kutai people will be more good, because many people will know about culture in Kalimantan.]]>
