Abstract

Post-mining land generally exhibits low nutrient levels, requiring soil enhancement via the use of chemical or organic amendments. The application of fertilizers and lime markedly affects soil conditions and can improve soil fertility. Soil fertility is essential as a substrate for plant growth to support reforestation or reclamation initiatives. After the planting medium is properly prepared, it can be inhabited with plant species appropriate for the site's conditions. This study's methodology involves assessing land conditions through the analysis of soil characteristics and the measurement of soil pH in the designated area. The study's results indicated that the soil texture in the research region is classified as sandy loam and loamy sand, with an average pH of 4.5. To enhance soil conditions, 100 grams of lime is necessary for each planting hole, totaling 625 trees. Therefore, 62.5 kg of dolomite lime per hectare is required for soil rehabilitation in the post-mining region.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Dalam bidang pertambangan, pengolahan data sangat penting karena deposit bahan galian tersebar tidak merata di dalam bumi. Penggunaan program Minescape mampu meningkatkan semua aspek informasi teknik suatu site tambang, mulai dari data eksplorasi, survey geologis, sampai ke jadwal produksi tambang, dan mengelola model-model geologi tiga dimensi serta desain tambang dengan sistem grafik CAD 3D. Metode yang digunakan adalah pengumpulan data numerik serta analisis data yang dapat diukur yang mencakup data topografi, data modelling batubara, dan design tambang. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam kategori penelitian deskriptif yaitu observasi langsung di lapangan dengan menggunakan data kuantitatif. Dari perhitungan dengan menggunakan Software Minescape 5.12 diperoleh total waste sebesar 1.700.898,91 Bcm dan batubara sebesar 242.840,92 Ton. Hasil perhitungan dari volume dan tonase diketahui nilai nisbah pengupasan atau stripping ratio sebesar 7,00. Kata Kunci : Pertambangan, Permodelan, Minescape, Batubara Abstract In the field of mining, data processing is crucial due to the uneven distribution of mineral deposits within the earth. The utilisation of the Minescape programme can enhance all aspects of technical information for a mining site, from exploration data and geological surveys to the mining production schedule, and managing three-dimensional geological models and mine designs with the CAD 3D graphics system. The methods used include numerical data collection and measurable data analysis, encompassing topographic data, coal modelling data, and mine design. This research falls into the category of descriptive research, involving direct field observations using quantitative data. Calculations using Minescape Software 5.12 revealed a total waste of 1,700,898.91 Bcm and coal of 242,840.92 tonnes. From the calculation of volume and tonnage, the stripping ratio was found to be 7.00. Keywords: Mining, Modelling, Minescape, Coal
