Abstract

Physics is a science that deals with practice. In practicum, it is necessary to be supported by teaching materials, one of which is a practicum guide. Practicum is a learning strategy that allows students to empirically train cognitive, psychomotor, and affective abilities simultaneously by using laboratory facilities. The guided inquiry-based practicum guide is expected to help students in practicum. The purpose of this study is to analyze the beginning and end to design a guided inquiry-based practicum guide. The R and D development model used is the ADDIE model, namely the needs analysis stage, one of which is the front end analysis. This type of research is qualitative research which includes descriptive research. Data collection techniques were a questionnaire. The research was conducted at the University of Riau. The results of the research are lecturers have good teaching performance but need to find a practical guide so as to create a student-centered learning. The practicum guide is prepared based on a needs analysis, namely practicum facilities need to be designed in accordance with the practicum objectives.

Abstract

The objective of the study was to analyse how positive and significant the influence of work culture toward self-control (locus of control) of certified teachers at primary schools. The population of this research were 155 certified teachers at primary school in Kuantan Tengah District. Seventy-five certified teachers were randomly selected as samples. The research was undertaken using a correlational research survey design. Data were collected using questionnaires statistically analysed to see if there were any effects on the work culture and teachers’ self-control. This study indicated a significant and positive effect of work culture on primary teachers’ self-control (locus of control). The finding implies that the increase in self-control (locus of control) is possible to achieve by strengthening the work culture.

Abstract

Gender equality is an important human rights principle to be realized in Indonesia. Although there has been significant progress in achieving gender equality, major challenges remain, especially in overcoming discrimination against women. One solution to achieving gender equality is to encourage women to become influential and competitive leaders. This research describes the method of implementing gender equality socialization, its results and achievements, as well as the importance of women in leadership. This effort involves outreach targets such as women's groups, teenagers and the general public through materials that emphasize that women also have rights in various fields, including politics and economics. In this socialization process, the presenters who are legislative candidates become resource persons to provide inspiration to the participants. Evaluation is carried out to measure participants' understanding of the socialization material. The results show that women have great potential as influential leaders if given equal opportunities and support.

Abstract

The cleanliness of the environment plays a crucial role in the welfare of the community. However, the plastic waste problem remains a serious challenge in Sungai Undan Village, Reteh District. This article examines the potential of ecobrick utilization as a solution for reducing plastic waste, focusing on the development of community-based waste management facilities. This program aims to educate the community about the importance of waste management through ecobrick methods and the creation of organic and inorganic waste bins, in order to create a cleaner and healthier environment. The results show that through ecobrick utilization and the provision of separate organic-inorganic waste bins, the community is able to contribute significantly to environmental cleanliness. Sungai Undan Village can thus serve as a model for sustainable waste management.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of online customer ratings, online customer reviews, and the cash on delivery (COD) payment system on purchasing decisions at the TikTok Shop. The population of this study were active undergraduate students majoring in Social Sciences Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Riau University who had shopped at the TikTok Shop. The sample in this study used a purposive sampling technique of 137 students. The method for collecting data uses a questionnaire that is distributed offline and the data collected is then tabulated and analyzed using multiple linear regression. Hypothesis testing is carried out using the F test and t test. Based on the research results, online customer ratings do not partially influence purchasing decisions, while online customer reviews and the cash on delivery (COD) payment system partially influence purchasing decisions. Then simultaneously online customer ratings, online customer reviews, and the cash on delivery (COD) payment system influence purchasing decisions at the TikTok Shop. Therefore, if TikTok Shop has a good online customer rating, online customer reviews, and there is a cash on delivery (COD) payment system, purchasing decisions will increase.

Abstract

Kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KUKERTA) merupakan salah satu bentuk pengabdian Masyarakat yang bertujuan memberikan pelatihan dan sosialisasi kepada Masyarakat melalui penerapan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Kegiatan sosialisasi ini berfokus  pada sosialisasi penanganan mutu ikan di atas kapal serta pengelolaan hasil olahan ikan tangkapan. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh brand ambassador dan brand trust terhadap keputusan pembelian produk skincare MS Glow di Kota Pekanbaru. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh konsumen MS Glow. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan kriteria minimal 2 kali membeli produk MS Glow, sehingga diperoleh sampel sebanyak 35 responden. Data diperoleh dengan menyebarkan kuesioner secara langsung. Data dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif dan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa brand ambassador dan brand trust secara simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Brand ambassador secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin baik brand ambassador yang dimiliki, maka akan semakin tinggi tingkat keputusan pembelian pada produk MS Glow, dan sebaliknya semakin tidak baik brand ambassador yang dimiliki, maka akan mengurangi keputusan pembelian produk MS Glow. Brand trust secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi kepercayaan merek pada produk yang diberikan kepada konsumen, maka akan semakin tinggi tingkat keputusan pembelian pada produk MS Glow, dan sebaliknya semakin rendah kepercayaan merek, maka akan mengurangi keputusan pembelian produk MS Glow

Abstract

The Riau University student community service team empowers the community by developing products that can be used as souvenirs of cold water. Cold water itself is a village located in Pekanbaru. The purpose of this community empowerment is to develop the potential of the cold water community, increase community income, and is expected to open up job opportunities for the surrounding community. In addition, the community service team also informs business actors to provide appropriate packaging, starting from packaging and product design. This is so that the product can compete with existing commodities. With an attractive packaging supported by a contemporary design, it will be the main attraction but it can also add to the selling value of a product. Of course, this is also accompanied by marketing through social networks such as Facebook, Instagram, and Whatsapp.
