Abstract

The objective of this paper is to implement different tools available in machine learning/artificial intelligence to classify faces and identify different features, highlights, and correlations or similarities between different celebrity faces which can apply in everyday security purposes to identity virtually if the authorized personnel is using certain access or not. The material present in this paper is a literature review of a machine learning model developed by the students. This is a classical problem of machine learning executed using a support vector machine. Images are separated based on sub-images. Each sub-image has been classified into a responsive class by an artificial neural network. The website then fetches the data from the back end and classifies the image into the corresponding personal.

Abstract

The Van Allen belts are said to be a pack of highly energetic particles which are extremely fatal to electronic systems and living beings. Very little information is known about them. Besides the data from past missions, it’s still not enough to draw any conclusion regarding the phenomenon of its shape, size, and density. The paper talks of a cost-effective satellite mission named Vansat to study the Van Allen belts in depth. The project aims to study the energetic particles, magnetic fields, and plasma waves in the radiation belts. The mission also focuses on having environment-friendly concepts demonstrated through the technologies along with a reduction in the complexity of the devices and instruments. Vansat consists of a dual satellite system-one satellite to study the inner belt and the other to study the outer belts. The octagonal geometry of the satellite along with wings and solar panels ensure aero dynamicity, energy saving as well as radiation shielding.

Abstract

Elections are a critical aspect of democratic governance, providing citizens with the power and right to express their views. A secure voting system with innovative features can improve this process. Blockchain technology is considered a disruptive innovation, and its potential for enhancing the e-voting system is significant. The modern voting system is focusing more on blockchain technology to strengthen and secure the process. Blockchain is a reliable, decentralized database that can offer increased security compared to electronic voting machines (EVMs). This research paper presents a detailed study of the design, smart contracts, evaluation of action, and survey on the acceptance of blockchain-based e-voting systems. It examines the requirements for such a system and provides an understanding of the model. As the acceptance of information technology-based services and products increases, future innovation in the e-voting system may depend on blockchain technology. The survey conducted in this paper explores the differences in opinion based on gender, age, and profession among eligible voters from India regarding the acceptance of blockchain technology-based secure e-voting systems. The analysis of these differences sheds light on the potential for blockchain-based e-voting systems to enhance trust and security in the voting process.
