Academically resilient students are students who are able to effectively deal with four conditions wich are, setback, challenges, adversity, and pressure in the academic context. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between social support and academic resilience of overseas students who are working on thesis. The subjects in this study were students part of Maluku Utara – Malang Student Association (IPMA - MUM) who were working on thesis, with 72 students. The sampling technique in this study is saturated sample. This research method uses quantitative research by collecting data using the scale of academic resilience and social support scale with the likert model. In order to obtain the results of hypothesis testing with a correlation index of 0.469 with a significant level of 0.000 so that the results of this study indicate a positive correlation which means the higher social support that individuals get, the higher the academic resilience and vice versa.

The COVID-19 pandemic that circulated in many areas in a wide geographical scope has initiated the new normal policy. These policies have an impact on employees. To survive, employees need high optimism. To generate optimism, encouragement is needed from within oneself and from others. This study aims to determine the effect of superior social support on the optimism of PT Propan Raya ICC Malang employees in working in the new normal era of covid-19. This study uses the variables of optimism and social support. The subjects of this study amounted to 48 individuals who are employees of PT Propan Raya ICC Malang. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling. This study uses a quantitative approach. The analytical method used is simple regression analysis. The results showed that there was a significant influence between superior's social support on optimism with a probability of 0.000 (p 0.05) so the hypothesis was accepted with a large effect of 65% (R square = 0.652).

Completing education at school for class XII students is a transition to maturity to form the desired integrity, where at this time students are required to determine what goals they want. This study aims to determine the relationship between grit and goal setting in class XII students. The results showed that there was a positive relationship between grit and goal setting in class XII students. The correlation coefficient value obtained is 0.818 with a significant value of 0.000 (p 0.05). The higher the grit that students have, the higher the goal setting ability will be. The lower the grit that students have, the lower the goal setting ability will be. The population in this study were all class XII students in Lamongan Regency. The sampling technique used is the cluster random sampling technique. The research sample involved 111 class XII students in Lamongan Regency. The research method uses a correlational quantitative approach. The measuring instrument used is a grit scale and a goal setting scale.Menamatkan pendidikan di sekolah bagi siswa kelas XII merupakan suatu transisi menuju kedewasaan untuk membentuk integritas yang didambakannya, dimana pada masa ini siswa dituntut untuk menentukan goal apa yang dikehendakinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara grit dengan goal setting pada siswa kelas XII. Populasi dalam penelitian ini ialah seluruh siswa kelas XII di Kabupaten Lamongan. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yakni teknik cluster random sampling. Sampel penelitian melibatkan 111 siswa kelas XII di Kabupaten Lamongan. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional. Alat ukur yang digunakan menggunakan skala grit dan skala goal setting. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwasannya terdapat hubungan positif antara grit dengan goal setting pada siswa kelas XII. Nilai koefisien korelasi yang didapatkan sebesar 0,818 dengan nilai signifikan 0,000 (p0,05). Semakin tinggi grit yang dimiliki siswa, maka akan semakin tinggi kemampuan goal setting. Semakin rendah grit yang dimiliki siswa, maka akan semakin rendah kemampuan goal setting.
