Abstract

Pendidikan kejuruan dituntut untuk mampu selaras dengan perkembangan dalam dunia usaha dan industri. Oleh karena itu kompetensi yang diajarkan harus melihat pada realitas kebutuhan masyarakat dan teknologi yang berkembang saat ini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) Menemukan tingkat relevansi antara Kompetensi Dasar pada Paket Keahlian Teknik Gambar Bangunan Kelas XI SMK Jurusan Teknik Gambar Bangunan dengan kebutuhan tenaga kerja di kantor konsultan perencana, (2) Menemukan materi yang perlu ditambahkan agar kualitas dari siswa lulusan SMK dapat memenuhi kualifikasi di dunia kerja. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kota Surabaya dengan sasaran kantor konsultan perencanaan bangunan. Sebagai subjek penelitian adalah 30 orang lulusan SMK Jurusan Teknik Gambar Bangunan yang bekerja sebagai drafter di kantor konsultan perencana. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrumen angket dan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah: (1) Kompetensi Dasar yang terdapat dalam Paket Keahlian Teknik Gambar Bangunan Kelas XI SMK Jurusan Teknik Gambar Bangunan 38,89% relevan dan 61,11% kurang relevan dengan kebutuhan kerja di kantor konsultan perencana. (2) Usulan untuk materi yang perlu ditambahkan pada Paket Keahlian Teknik Gambar Bangunan Kelas XI SMK Jurusan Teknik Gambar Bangunan yaitu 53,57% untuk materi tentang media perangkat lunak untuk menggambar tiga dimensi, 17,85% untuk materi mencetak gambar, 14,28% untuk materi gambar instalasi listrik, 10,71% untuk materi gambar saluran atau drainase, dan 3,57% untuk gambar pipa air bersih dan air limbah Kata Kunci: Relevansi, Paket Keahlian Teknik Gambar Bangunan, Kurikulun 2013, Konsultan Perencana. Vocational education is required to be able in line with developments in the world of bussines and industry. Therefore competencies taught must look at the reality of people’s need and the technology developed at this time. The purpose of this study are: (1) Find the degree of relevance between the Basic Competence at Building Drawing Engineering Skill Package for XI grade Vocational High School Building Drawing Engineering Department with the labor needs in the planning consultant office, (2) Finding material that needs to be added that the quality of Vocational High School graduates to qualify in the world of work. This research conducted in Surabaya with target planning consultant office. Subject of the study were 30 graduates of Vocational High School Building Drawing Engineering Department who worked as a drafter at planning consultant office. Data was collected using questionnaires and use descriptive analysis. The results obtained are: (1) Basic competence that contained in Building Drawing Engineering Skills Package of the XI grade Vocational High School Building Drawing Engineering Department 38,89% relevant and 61,11% is less relevant with planning consultants office employment needs. (2) Suggestions for material that needs to be added to the Building Sketch Engineering Skills Package of the XI grade Vocational High School Building Drawing Engineering Department is 53,57% for the three dimensional drawing software materials, 17,85% for the material to print pictures, 14,28% for the electrical instalation drawing materials, 10,71% for drainage channels drawing materials, and 3,57% for water pipes and waste water drawing materials. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the mechanical properties of High Density Polyethylene composites reinforced with coconut fiber. The analysis was carried out through tensile and impact tests on composites with variations in coconut fiber volume fractions of 0%, 10%, 20%, and 30%. The main objective of this study was to determine the effect of variations in fiber volume fractions on tensile strength and impact toughness, and to determine the fiber volume fraction that produces the most optimal mechanical properties. The research method includes the process of making HDPE-coconut fiber composite specimens according to testing standards, then conducting tests using a tensile testing machine and an impact testing machine. The test data were compared for each variation of fiber volume fraction to obtain the relationship between increasing fiber fractions on tensile strength and impact absorption energy. The results showed that increasing the coconut fiber volume fraction had an effect on increasing tensile strength and impact toughness to a certain limit. The mechanical strength of the composite increased at a fiber fraction of 20%, then tended to decrease at a fraction of 30% due to uneven fiber distribution and decreased fiber-matrix interfacial bonding. Thus, the HDPE–coconut fiber composite with a fiber volume fraction of 20% produced the most optimal mechanical properties among the variations tested.

Abstract

Learning media continues to develop along with the development of the times. Therefore, as teachers and educators, they must be able to adjust and learn related to learning media that continues to develop. The use of learning media with the use of modern technology has various types, one of which is kahoot learning media. This research is focused on how to find out the advantages, disadvantages, and impacts used in kahoot game applications. The method used for this sniffing is a quantitative descriptive method that contains a description of the explanation related to the advantages, disadvantages, and impacts used for the kahoot application. The results of the study found that the game has advantages, namely attractiveness, novelty, and reducing boredom. The disadvantage of kahot games is that they do not explore the area of children's reasoning comprehensively, as opposed to the essential construction. From this study, the conclusion is that this learning media has distinctive advantages and disadvantages, teachers must adjust the use of appropriate learning media and plan so that the impact can be appropriate effectively and efficiently

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between the interest in becoming a teacher and the microteaching learning outcomes of students in the Vocational Education Program in Automotive Technology at Universitas Lancang Kuning. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The sample consisted of 42 students who had completed the microteaching course, and data were collected through an interest questionnaire and academic performance scores. Data analysis was conducted using the Pearson Product Moment correlation test with the help of SPSS. The results showed a strong and significant relationship between the interest in becoming a teacher and microteaching learning outcomes, with a correlation coefficient of 0.874 and a coefficient of determination of 76.4%. These findings indicate that a high interest in the teaching profession can positively contribute to students’ academic achievement. Therefore, fostering interest in the teaching profession should be a focus in learning strategies and career development for vocational education students.
