Abstract

Sastra merupakan representasi dari realitas. Dalam sastra kita dapat membandingkan dan menelusuri realitas yang direkonstruksikan. Media sosial merupakan sarana baru pengungkapan jati diri dan kreativitas dalam berbagai rekonstruksi. Berangkat dari telaah kedua data dalam kedua media itu, artikel ini merupakan sebuah telaah bandingan tentang representasi perempuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan berfokus pada representasi rekonstruksi perempuan dalam sastra terutama dalam novel karya Indah Hanaco berjudul Black Angel, The Curse of Beauty: Sexuality Exploitation towards Sales Promotion Girls, Heartling, Out of The Blue, dan Fixing a Broken Heart serta sederet akun TikTok yang diunduh pada periode waktu tertentu. Hal itu dilakukan untuk melihat bagaimana relasi perempuan dengan orang-orang di sekitar lingkungan sosial, bagaimana reaksi yang diterima dari orang sekitar dan lingkungan sosial pada sosok perempuan itu; serta apa dampak yang harus ia terima jika ia tidak dapat menyelaraskan diri dengan konflik atau solusi yang dihadapi. Analisis dilakukan dengan sudut pandang telaah antropologis, mengingat banyaknya aspek kebudayaan yang muncul dalam video TikTok. Hasil penelitian dibagi dalam lima kategori, yaitu perempuan tangguh, perempuan lemah, perempuan alternatif, gaya hidup, dan trauma masa lalu. Literature is a representation of reality. In literature, we can compare and trace the reconstruction of reality. Social media is a new means of expressing identity and creativity in various reconstructions. Based on the study of the two data in the two media, this article is a comparative study of women's representation. This research are qualitative and had been focused on the women's reconstruction in literature, especially a few of Indah Hanaco's novels: Black Angel, The Curse of Beauty: Sexuality Exploitation towards Sales Promotion Girls, Heartling, Out of The Blue, dan Fixing a Broken Heart, and a series of TikTok videos that of a certain period. These questions are how their relationships with their surroundings, and what environment's reactions they received; and what result they will have if cannot reconcile on the conflict or solution. Those data are analyzed by anthropologic perspectives, considering the many cultural aspects that appear in TikTok videos. Results are these five categories: tough women, weak women, alternative women, lifestyle, and post-trauma.

Abstract

AbstrakPergeseran hasrat kerap terjadi di dalam kehidupan manusia. Dalam makalah ini, data penelitian diarahkan hanya pada ketujuh cerpen karangan Hardy, terutama poin-poin yang berkaitan dengan pergeseran hasrat. Penelitian dibatasi pada dua batasan berkut, yaitu (1) tanda apa saja yang memicu pergeseran hasrat tersebut, dan (2) apa dampak yang terjadi dari pergeseran hasrat itu. Penelitian ini besifat kualitatif dan metode yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif komparatif. Pembahasan menggunakan konsep semiotika dari Pierce dengan pengembangan konsep oleh Suryolakosono. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya kasus-kasus pergeseran hasrat, baik terhadap benda nyata maupun abstrak.Kata kunci: pergeseran, hasrat, abstrak, alternatf, primer Abstract The shift of the passion was many times happened in human lifes. But, in this paper, data was focused on Hardy’s seven short stories, especially the points that related to desires shift. Research had been limited into the following these two limits: (1) what signs triggering the shift, and (2) what impact that appeared of the shift? This research was a qualitative and comparative descriptive analysis method. The exploration was lead to the concept of Pierce semiotics, then was well-developed by Suryolakosono. The results showed that there were cases of desire shift among human lifes on both real and abstract objects.Keywords: shift, passion, abstract, alternative, primary

Abstract

Beberapa dekade terakhir, Disney menghadirkan tokoh princess dengan konsep baru, seperti Merida (The Brave), Mulan, atau Elsa. Para princess konsep baru itu seolah mendapatkan kebebasan yang lebih banyak untuk berkiprah di ranah publik daripada para princess terdahulu, seperti Cinderela atau Snow White. Jika ditelaah lebih lanjut, tidak ada perbedaan berarti di antara para putri tersebut. Disney tetaplah pemangku adat patriarkis yang tidak pernah melepas stigma yang dihadirkan dalam konsep putri tradisionalnya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengamati apakah sosok Elsa hadir dengan konsep kebebasan yang seutuhnya. Penelitian tentang konsep princess tersebut dibatasi pada kondisi Elsa sebagai objek penelitian dalam film Frozen II yang merupakan sekuel dari Frozen I. Penelitian kualitatif ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif pada data primer berupa lirik lagu original soundtrack (OST) dan data sekunder berupa gambar adegan dalam film yang relevan dengan poin-poin dalam lirik tersebut. Pembahasan tentang Elsa dilakukan dengan Analisis Framing dari Pan dan Kosicki. Analisis tersebut membingkai beberapa hal yang menjadi penjara sublime maskulin bagi seorang Elsa dalam lirik dan data visual. Hasil amatan sementara dalam penelitian ini adalah bahwa Elsa tidak sepenuhnya diberikan kebebasan sebagai princess dengan konsep baru.In the last few decades, Disney presents princess figures with new concepts, such as Merida (The Brave), Mulan, or Elsa. The new concept of princesses seemed to get more freedom on being public domain than the previous princesses, such as Cinderella, and Snow White. However, if explored further, there are no significant differences between them. Disney remains the absolute holder of masculinity. He never let go of the presented princesses from his traditional princess concept. The purpose of this research was to aprrove whether Elsa was completely present with the concept of freedom? Research on the concept of princess is limited to Elsa's condition as an object of research in Frozen II as a sequel to Frozen I. This research is a qualitative study conducted with descriptive methods in the primary data in the form of OST song lyrics and secondary data in the form of image scenes in films that are relevant to the points in the lyrics. The discussion about Elsa was carried out with Framing Analysis from Pan and Kosicki. The analysis well-framed those matters that could be her masculine sumblime barriers, found at lyrics and visual corpus. The result of a temporary observation in this study was that Elsa was not fully freed as a princess with a new concept.
