Abstract

Basic leadership training is provided to provide preparation for all members of the organization in carrying out their duties professionally. Material directions are given to provide conceptual and applicable aspects of millennial leadership. Student council candidates are still not ready in terms of mentality and leadership. This training aims to provide a new perspective on the meaning of leadership and organizational governance. The training method is face-to-face directly to prospective OSIS Madrasah Aliyah Al-Falah administrators. The head of the organization leads a meeting and the effectiveness of communication for its members. Forming a professional leadership character for young people at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Falah in providing sufficient provisions with strong mentality. The preparation of this training will strengthen the intention and responsibility to carry out the position to advance the school organization in the future. So it can be concluded that basic leadership training is needed to shape the character of leaders in all prospective OSIS management at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Falah Jakarta.

Abstract

This study analyzes the successful implementation of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) through the roles of job satisfaction, organizational culture, and organizational commitment. The research was conducted at the Indonesian Electrical Contractors Associations using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method. A number of 100 respondents were asked to fill in a questionnaire distributed via a google form. The results explain that both organizational commitment and organizational culture affect positive behavior (OCB) while job satisfaction does not. These three variables have implications for behavior change represented by culture, job satisfaction, and commitment. Thus, it is possible to deduce that the success of organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) is influenced by organizational commitment and culture that shape employee professionalism. As for job satisfaction, it must be improved through a competitive salary system, support among employees, and a conducive work environment.

Abstract

Dimensions of organizational culture, training and development, job environment, and supervisor relationship have implications for employee engagement. Employee engagement is needed to produce high-quality work results in the application company. The purpose of the research was to analyze the factors with implications for employee engagement. The research objective was an application-based technology company in Indonesia. The sampling approach used a stratified method. Then, the number of respondents was 100 people. Meanwhile, the analysis method applied Partial Least Square (PLS). The results reveal that four variables have implications for employee engagement. The training and development dimension has the highest implications for employee engagement. The company must implement organizational culture in accordance with its core business values. Then, the conduciveness of the work environment must be increased to provide a positive psychological effect for employees. Similarly, supervisor relationships must be well maintained to monitor the work process. These four variables prove that the application-based technology company needs an increase in employee engagement to generate new business ideas. Innovation and creativity can be generated through employee engagement. The conclusion is that application-based technology company must pay attention to the application of culture organization and the sustainability of training and development programs, provide a comfortable job environment, and maintain supervisor relationships with their employees.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the ratio of financial performance to the profitability of private conventional commercial banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Retrieval of data using financial statements from fourteen conventional commercial banks. The independent variables used include Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Operational Income Operating Expenses (BOPO), Non Performing Loans (NPL), and Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR). The profitability variable is proxied by Return on Assets (ROA). This type of research is quantitative that uses secondary data. The analysis was carried out using multiple regression analysis. The results showed that, CAR and NPL had no effect on ROA, while BOPO and LDR had a significant effect on ROA. Then the F Test results show that CAR, NPL, BOPO, and LDR simultaneously influence ROA

Abstract

This research analyzes about the influence of financial performance ratio to profitability of Rural Bank of Sharia in Indonesia. Financial performance ratio variables are proxied by the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Financing (NPF), Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), and Operating Income Operating Expenses (BOPO). Profitability ratio is proxied with Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity). The method used is Lin-Log Logarithm Transformation on Multiple Regression model. The results explain that the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) ratio has no effect and the direction of negative moving relation to ROA and ROE. Non Performing Financing (NPF) and Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) ratios have a negative moving influence and direction towards ROA and ROE. Operating Expense and Operating Revenue Ratios have a significant influence. Direction of negative moving relation to Return on Assets (ROA) and positive to Return on Equity (ROE). This study found that the profitability of Sharia Rural Banks in Indonesia (BPRS) is influenced by the level of problem financing, proper allocation of financing, and the balance of operational efficiency.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) on company profitability. The dependent variable are Return On Assets (ROA) and Return On Equity (ROE). The independent variable are Good Corporate Governance (GCG) represented by the Board of Commissioners, the Board of Directors, and the Audit Committee. This study uses secondary data from audited financial statements of Real Estate and Property companies in 2013-2017. The analytical tool used in this study uses panel data regression. Based on the results of the study it is known that the Board of Directors and Audit Committee variables have a significant positive effect on ROA and ROE. The Board of Commissioners variable has no influence and negative relationship to ROA and ROE.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of brand image and product perception on purchasing decisions of automatic motorcycles in East Belitung. Motorbikes are vehicles that are in demand by consumers with a number of factors considering purchasing as needed. The object of this study analyzes how consumers consider a number of factors that serve as motorcycle purchasing decisions. This research was conducted for three months starting from August-October 2018. The location of the study was East Belitung with a total sample of 100 people. The variables used are brand image and product perception as an independent variable, while purchasing decisions as the dependent variable. The statistical method used to test data in this study is the method of multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study are partially brand image has a significant influence on purchasing decisions, product perception has a significant influence on purchasing decisions. Simultaneously brand image and product perception have a joint influence on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Many organizations apply WFH policy during the pandemic. In this study, we focused on the employee performance quality when engaged in this working pattern. The result of the study is expected to provide positive recommendations to organizations in implementing the WFH policy. This approach allows researchers to see the significance of the construct and its effect on employee performance. 104 out of 140 employees were recruited as participants using a purposive sampling technique based on several criteria. The obtained data are considered representative of the population. This study examined the effect of workmotivation, work discipline, and compensation on employee performance. These variables were analyzed the Work from Home (WFH) setting during the COVID-19 pandemic. The result of the study may provide a positive recommendation to improve employee performance when working from home. This study found that work motivation and discipline positively affected employees’ job performance. Compensation did not affect but had a positive relationship with employees’ job performance.  Work discipline was found to be the most dominant variable affecting the increase in employee performance during WFH. The organization needs to evaluate the compensation program to improve the work outcome quality and rewards for employees during the WFH program.

Abstract

Research aims: This study analyzes the role of leadership in improving employee productivity. The object of research was carried out at a start-up company engaged in the digital career development platform.Design/Methodology/Approach: The process of collecting data by conducting virtual interviews to gather information according to the research topic. Structured interviews were used in this study with the aim of obtaining systematic and specific information.Research findings: The results showed that the role of leadership is vital in increasing employee productivity. Theoretical contribution/ Originality: The six components that show the role of leadership in employee productivity include clarity of leadership functions, accuracy of competency-based employee placement, consistency of training programs, effectiveness of organizational strategy implementation, clarity of job description directions to employees, and a fair reward system based on contributions.Practitioner/Policy implication: This research has leadership implications for employee productivity. Leadership is very important in maintaining long-term business sustainability.Research limitation/Implication: This study is only limited to discussing the role of leadership to increase employee productivity accompanied by human resource strategies.

Abstract

COMMUNITY SERVICE WEBINAR IMPLEMENTATION OF PERFORMANCE INDICATORS IN THE BUSINESS WORLD. This webinar is held to share knowledge and practice about the application of performance management in the business world. The theme taken is more specific about the implementation of performance indicators. The webinar planning process was prepared by a committee team from the Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Paramadina University. The webinar method is carried out virtually using the Google Meet platform. The resource persons come from lecturers and practitioners with a balance between conceptual and practical application of performance indicators in the company. The number of participants for the webinar was 51 people. Webinar evaluation conducted by webinar participants assessed that the material presented could be understood well. The ability of the committee, resource persons, and moderators was considered good during the webinar. Participants are satisfied with the implementation of the webinar and hope there will be a continuation of the event.
