Abstract

Men from Tanjung Nipah short story is a short story by E. Widoantoro rich in religious values. Thus, the study of religious values in this short story interesting to do. This research tries to explain religious value in literature. In addition, this study also was supported by descriptive analysis method. The results showed the existence of religious values on the short story of the man Tanjung Nipah. Value religus visible of the three protagonists in this short story, the characters Ustad Abu, Wak Hassan and Prime. As a faith mosque, Ustad Abu figure is a religious figure, both in daily activities and in religious activities. In daily life, figures Ustad Abu maintain close ties with all the citizens of Tanjung Nipah. So is the case with Hasan Wak figures, exemplary shown, make him a role model for the community Tanjung Nipah. It is also shown by the figures diperlhatkan prime, he is a devout young child so he also became a fad for young people in Tanjung Nipah.

Abstract

This study is entitled Role of Dara Muning Folklore in the Culture System Construction. This study seeks the role of West Kalimantan folklore, especially Dara Muning in the establishment of a cultural system. The theoretical framework used as the basis for this study is an understanding of the theory of literary anthropology. Anthropological theory in the field of literature is basically a theory that focuses on the relationship between literary work and the society that creates or supports the literary work. So that literary works have a cultural dimension of benefits. This research is a qualitative research in a literary perspective. Qualitative research is research that intends to understand the phenomenon of what is experienced by the subject of research such as behavior, perceptions, motivations, actions and others holistically and by way of descriptions in the form of words and language in a specific context that is experienced and by utilizing various natural methods. Thus, a qualitative approach basically provides space for researchers to describe and interpret the meaning of existing data and facts contextually. The results of the study show the role of folklore in the strengthening of existing cultural systems. Especially the West Kalimatantan Dayak culture.

Abstract

This study titled Motif story on Oral Literature of West Kalimantan. This study departs from the main issue, namely the motives on story people of West Kalimantan. Of overwhelming theories used in the study on oral literatures motif refers to the study of the theory of structuralism, which focuses on the elements of the storyline. In addition as a guide to the study of this motif is a pattern classification folklore motifs by Thomson. This study was supported methods of descriptive analysis.

Abstract

This research is entitled Writing Style of Poetry of the Author of West Kalimantan. This study uses descriptive analysis approach. Meanwhile, the theory used in this study is semiotic theory. The results of the study show that there are semiotic differences in the style of poetry writing by three West Kalimantan writers. Each writer represents their respective times. In creating poetry works they have their own characteristics which are depicted in their poetry work. Munawar Kalahan's style of writing is based on his life in his hometown. Meanwhile, Yudhiswara poetry expresses criticism of social phenomena that exist in society. While Ibnu Hs authorship style is more abstract.
