Abstract

Daging merupakan salah satu sumber protein yang mudah mengalami kerusakan jika terkontaminasi mikroba. Dapat menyebabkan keracunan (foodborne diseases) jika terkontaminasi pathogen seperti Salmonella sp. dan Escherichia coli. Penelitian ini secara bertujuan untuk menganalisis jumlah cemaran mikroba dan identifikasi Salmonella sp. dan Escherichia coli pada daging ayam di beberapa tempat pemasaran wilayah kota Kupang. Desain penelitian ini adalah cross-sectional dengan menggunakan uji rata-rata untuk mengetahui adanya perbedaan pada sampel, dimana sampel diambil dari 3 tempat pemasaran daging ayam yaitu Pasar Oeba, Pasar Oebobo dan Pasar Naikoten. Data dianalisis menggunakan colony counter, anova dan hasil identifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jumlah koloni bakteri aerob mesofil yang mencemari daging ayam masing-masing sebesar 82800000 (82,8 x 106) CFU/g untuk Pasar Naikoten, 28950000 (28,95 x 106) CFU/g untuk daging ayam yang diambil dari Pasar Oebobo dan 102950000 (102,95 x 106) CFU/g pada daging ayam yang diperoleh dari Pasar Oeba. Hasil uji analisis sidik ragam diketahui bahwa adanya perbedaan tidak nyata (P>0,05) pada taraf kepercayaan 0,05 diantara cemaran bakteri aerob mesofil pada daging ayam di 3 tempat pemasaran. Hasil identifikasi menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada kontaminasi Salmonella sp. dan Escherichia coli pada daging ayam yang diuji. Abstract

ABSTRACT The lack of good attitude from young women in dealing with Menarche is influenced by several factors, one of which is the level of knowledge. The higher the level of knowledge a teenager has about menarche, the better the attitude or action to be taken in dealing with Menarche. Menarche event is the occurrence of bleeding (menstruation) first on the female genitals because the female glands begin to function, which is to cook the eggs and cooked eggs and then come out of the ovaries (ovaries). This study aims to identify and identify the level of knowledge and attitudes of young women in dealing with Menarche in SMP Negeri 8 Kupang. The research methods used in this research are: (1) Literature study (through scientific essays and documents related to research), (2) Field studies (primary data collection using questionnaires in the form of questionnaires to respondents). The sampling technique uses total sampling, which is sample selection by taking all members of the population to be sampled. The population is all 26 young women who will face Menarche in SMP Negeri 8 Kupang. Data analysis was performed univariately by calculating the distribution and frequency of the studied variables using the relative frequency table and the percentage of each variable using the proportion formula where the numerator divides the denominator. The results of data analysis showed that of the 26 respondents there were 4% of respondents with a good level of knowledge, 23% of respondents with a sufficient level of knowledge and 73% of respondents with insufficient perception. The analysis also shows that there are 69% of respondents with good attitude, 23% of respondents with enough attitude and 8% of respondents with less attitude. Abstract

Breastfeeding is one component of reproduction which consists of menstruation, conception, pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and weaning. If this component goes well, the breastfeeding process is also successful. This study aims to determine the effect of exclusive breastfeeding and maternal knowledge about supplementary feeding to infants before the age of six months on toddler status. This type of research is a descriptive study with the type of cross sectional approach. The research was conducted from September to October 2019 in Noelbaki Village, Kupang Regency, which consisted of 114 mothers as respondents. Data was collected by conducting interviews directly at the home of each respondent. Data analysis was carried out bivariately to determine the direction of the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the mother's knowledge about breastfeeding before the baby was 6 months had a significant relationship with the nutritional status of toddlers with exclusive breastfeeding while exclusive breastfeeding was not related to nutritional status
