Abstract

Abstract The COVID-19 pandemic that hit Indonesia had a considerable impact on MSMEs (Micro Small and Medium Enterprieses), including cafes. Red n Blue Café which operates in Tanjungpinang City is one of the cafes that is affected by COVID-19 pandemic. This study aims to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges faced by Red n Blue Café during the pandemic and formulate the Red n Blue Café business strategy in dealing with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The method adopted in this study is qualitative. The data were collected by interview, observations and literature studies. The data was then processed by using the IFE matrix, EFE matrix, and SWOT matrix. As a result, the Red n Blue Café strategy can be categorized into general strategies and pandemic specific strategies. Digital marketing and e-commerce can be an option for Red n Blue Café both during the pandemic and in normal times.Keywords : Strategy, Strategic Mangement, SWOT Analysis..AbstrakPandemi COVID-19 yang melanda Indonesia memberikan dampak yang cukup besar terhadap UMKM, termasuk café. Red n Blue Café yang beroperasi di Kota Tanjungpinang adalah salah satu café yang merasakan dampak pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang dan tantangan yang dihadapi oleh Red n Blue Café di masa pandemic serta merumuskan strategi bisnis Red n Blue Café dalam menghadapi pandemic COVID-19 yang sedang berlangsung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan studi kepustakaan sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Data kemudian diolah menggunakan matriks IFE, matriks EFE, dan matriks SWOT. Hasilnya, strategi Red n Blue Café dapat dikategorikan menjadi strategi umum dan strategi di masa pandemi. Digital marketing dan e-commerce dapat menjadi pilihan yang dijalankan baik di masa pandemi maupun di masa normal.Kata Kunci : Strategi, Manajemen Strategik, Analisa SWOT

Abstract

Abstract Purpose: This study aims to explore the entrepreneurial motivation behind food and beverage MSMEs in Tanjungpinang during the COVID-19 pandemic. Method: This study adopted a qualitative method. A total of 11 food and beverage MSMEs owners in Tanjungpinang that started their businesses in 2020 and 2021 were interviewed. Thematic analysis was used to analyze the data gathered. Result: The result of this study shows that financial rewards, independence, personal satisfaction, as well as the existence of opportunities as the driving forces behind a person’s decision to become an entrepreneur in the food and beverages industry in Tanjungpinang during the COVID-19 pandemic. This finding hopefully may give insight into the motivation behind an individual decision to become an entrepreneur in the food and beverages industry and why the number of food and beverages MSMEs is increasing.

Abstract

Tourism is a manifestation of the symptoms of human instincts long ago, namely the desire to travel. This is also the reason for Penyengat Island to continue to develop its tourist attraction because it is an amazing place and keeps a combination of tourism between history, spectacular nature and cultural arts that are so compelling. At present, Penyengat Island has a new tourist destination, the heritage market which is the second year this destination has been established. One of the uniqueness of the inheritance market is the existence of transactions using ketone money which was used as a medium of exchange for shopping during the Malay kingdom. Visitors can exchange rupiah for Ketone money to buy food, goods or souvenirs. The purpose of this research is to find out how ketone money can be used as a shopping transaction tool. With the service method in the form of approaches and outreach to the public and visitors to the island of Penyengat. Stinging Legacy Exploration Activities are carried out in a day with a total of 400 participants. The expected outcome of this activity is that the local community and visitors of the stinging island can understand how to shop or trade using ketone money

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh keseimbangan kehidupan kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja anggota satuan polisi pamong praja Provinsi Kepulauan Riau, dalam menjalankan kehidupan dalam bekerja, kehidupan dalam keluarga dan masyarakat. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode description survey dengan analisis statistik deskriptif dan explanatory survey dengan analisi statistik (korelasi dan regresi). Dalam penelitian ini data serta informasi diperoleh menggunakan metode kepustakaan, survey dan wawancara, serta metode kuesioner. Dalam penelitian ini jumlah sampel yang di gunakan sebanyak 47 responden anggota Satpol PP Provinsi Kepulauan Riau. Dapat disimpulkan pada variabel X berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel Y. Hasil uji R menunjukkan hasil R Square sebesar 0,824, yang artinya variabel independen (X) keseimbangan kehidupan kerja berpengaruh terhadap variabel dependen (Y) kepuasan kerja anggota Satpol PP. Sedangkan 17,6% berpengaruh pada variabel lain yang tidak termasuk kedalam penelitian. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel independen Kepuasan Kehidupan Kerja (X) berpengaruh terhadap variabel dependen Kepuasan Kerja (Y), yang artinya bila keseimbangan kehidupan kerja anggota Satpol PP tercapai maka Kepuasan Kerja anggota Satpol PP juga akan terpenuhi. Abstract

Objective: This investigation assessed the factors determining consumers' purchasing intention for natural food. This study employs four variables to explain the phenomenon: purchasing intention toward organic food, altruistic value, egoistic value, and attitude toward organic products. Design/Methods/Approach: This study employs a quantitative approach, using primary data collected through an online survey from a sample of 109 individuals. We use the convenience sampling method to collect the data. Furthermore, the regression analysis is performed with SPSS version 23. Findings:  The findings of this study highlighted that altruistic and egoistic values do not influence the intention to purchase organic food. Consumers' attitude has a significant influence on purchasing organic food. However, egoistic values and altruistic values do not influence purchasing intention. Originality/Value: This research examines specific parameters determining consumers' purchasing behavior toward organic products. The model in this work is grounded with a few gaps that still need to be explored and have rarely been investigated in past studies. Practical/Policy implication: The findings contribute an additional theoretical comprehensive to the organic food consumption literature. Moreover, these findings can be an asset to the practitioner in shaping successful marketing strategies to promote and develop organic food. This study can provide additional knowledge and a new perception of consumer behavior toward organic food.

Abstract

This study focuses on a culinary business in Tanjungpinang City, investigating the application of a business model canvas for UMKM Fortunate Boba, renowned for its signature boba-topped cold beverages. With the aim to enhance competitiveness amidst similar ventures, qualitative analysis employing the business canvas model approach was conducted through interviews with UMKM Fortunate Boba's owner. The results of the Business Model Canvas (BMC) analysis unveil strategic utilization of social media platforms like Facebook and TikTok, e-money transaction systems, and collaborations with delivery services such as Go-Jek and Maxim to streamline order deliveries. This research underscores the practical implementation of a business model canvas to optimize the operations of UMKM Fortunate Boba, highlighting key strategies for thriving in the competitive culinary market. Highlight: UMKM Enhancement: This study examines the application of a business model canvas for UMKM Fortunate Boba, specializing in boba-topped cold beverages, to enhance competitiveness in a competitive culinary market. Qualitative Approach: Through qualitative analysis and owner interviews, the study employs the business canvas model to uncover strategic approaches, including social media utilization, e-money transactions, and delivery collaborations. Abstract

COVID-19 is a global health problem. The number of positive cases keep increasing globally towards the end of 2020, including in Indonesia. This is a challenging situation for the healthcare workers who provide services to the patient without knowing whether the patients infected by COVID-19 or not, especially for those who work in emergency unit of the hospital. This study aims to explore the stressors and coping strategies among emergency unit healthcare workers in Tanjungpinang, Indonesia. The sample was taken from the emergency unit of Raja Ahmad Tabib Kepulauan Riau Regional Public Hospital as the only referral hospital in Tanjungpinang. Data was collected through interview and then analyze by using thematic analysis approach. The result shows that the source of stress that the emergency unit healthcare workers feel during Covid-19 pandemic is the fear of contacting the disease, fear of infecting family members, as well as negative perceptions from the public. As for the coping methods, it was found out that the emergency unit healthcare workers adhere to health protocol, adding insight on Covid-19 related issues, performing religious activities, adopting healthier lifestyle, seeking social support, and doing relaxing activities in the spare time.

Abstract

This research describes the community service program, especially for Dwi Jaya Enterprises in the 2022 KKN-P3M (Real Work Class – Center, Research and Community Service) activities in Sri Bintan 2 Village, Bintan District, Bintan Regency. The method used is the method of observation, interviews, documentation, and training. The analysis carried out focuses on problems in terms of introducing Dwi Jaya Business to the community and preparing simple financial reports. This analysis resulted in solving the problem in the form of a program that we implemented, Logo, namely banners, business cards, stamps, notes and financial reports that were provided to Dwi Jaya. With this problem solving method it is hoped that it can help solve problems that exist in Dwi Jaya's business. Keywords : Accounting, Management, Branding, Implementation Abstrak : Penelitian ini menjelaskan tentang program pengabdian masyarakat khususnya pada Usaha Dwi Jaya di kegiatan KKN-P3M (Kuliah Kerja Nyata – Pusat, Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat) tahun 2022 di Desa Sri Bintan 2, Kecamatan Bintan, Kabupaten Bintan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan pelatihan. Analisa yang dilakukan berfokus pada permasalahan dari segi pengenalan Usaha Dwi Jaya pada masyarakat serta penyusunan laporan keuangan sederhana. Analisa tersebut menghasilkan penyelesaian masalah berupa program yang kami laksanakan yaitu Logo, spanduk, kartu nama, stempel, nota serta laporan keuangan yang diberikan kepada pihak Dwi Jaya. Abstract

Dalam menghadapi pertumbuhan UMKM di Indonesia, seringkali muncul masalah, termasuk kurangnya pemahaman tentang pentingnya identitas merek bagi usaha. UMKM Jamu Ibu Winarni adalah usaha yang beroperasi di Desa Toapaya Selatan, Kabupaten Bintan dan belum menyadari pentingnya memiliki identitas merek. Usaha ini tidak memiliki nama usaha, logo, atau spanduk yang membedakan mereka dari pesaing dan meningkatkan kesadaran merek. Oleh karena itu, tujuan pengabdian ini adalah membantu UMKM Jamu Ibu Winarni menentukan nama usaha, desain logo, stiker botol, dan spanduk untuk membangun identitas merek. Proses pengabdian masyarakat ini melibatkan identifikasi kebutuhan UMKM, pendampingan, pemenuhan kebutuhan, serta peresmian identitas merek dan penyerahan fisik. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini termasuk penentuan nama usaha "Jamu Ibu Winarni," desain logo baru, stiker botol, dan spanduk berukuran 2 x 1 meter yang dipasang di depan rumah Ibu Winarni sehingga dapat menandakan kepada masyarakat sekitar bahwa Ibu Winarni adalah seorang pelaku usaha yang menjual jamu. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian ini, Ibu Winarni telah menyadari pentingnya identitas merek bagi usahanya dan juga telah membuat nama usaha, desain logo, stiker, dan spanduk

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh iklim organisasi dan komitmen organisasi terhadap organizational citizenship behaviour (OCB) pada pegawai di Kantor kecamatan Seri Kuala Lobam. Populasi dan sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 33, dimana penentuan sampel diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh sehingga seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu metode kuantitatif. Objek penenelitian yaitu pegawai Kantor Kecamatan Seri Kuala Lobam. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dengan wawancara, penyebaran kuesioner dan studi pustaka. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji kualitas data yaitu uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik dengan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS versi 20. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel iklim organisasi dan komitmen organisasi berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap organizational citizenship behaviour (OCB) dengan nilai thitung (2,415) dan thitung (3,605) > ttabel (2,042). Variabel iklim organisasi dan komitmen organisasi berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap organizational citizenship behaviour (OCB) dengan nilai Fhitung (9,252) > Ftabel (3,32). Nilai Adjust R Square sebesar 0,340 atau 34%. Sementara sisanya 66% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan meningkatnya iklim organisasi dan komitmen organisasi maka akan meningkatkan organizational citizenship behaviour (OCB) pada pegawai di Kantor Kecamatan Seri Kuala Lobam.
