Abstract

This study examines the impact of Islamic preaching content delivered by K.H. Ahmad Bahauddin Nursalim (Gus Baha), Ustadz Adi Hidayat, and Ustadz Khalid Basalamah via YouTube and TikTok on the religious knowledge and tolerance attitudes of the urban Muslim community in Bogor, Indonesia. Employing a sequential explanatory mixed-methods approach, the research integrates quantitative survey data analyzed via multiple regression with qualitative insights gathered from in-depth interviews with local religious figures and community members. The findings reveal that 88.2% of the variance in religious tolerance behavior is attributable to the consumption of digital religious content on these platforms. While TikTok contributes to the rapid dissemination of visualized religious messages, YouTube offers more structured, in-depth religious discourse, both of which reinforce spiritual awareness and interfaith empathy. The study concludes that social media platforms play a transformative role in shaping urban religiosity, functioning as digital spaces for ethical formation, theological education, and inclusive civic identity. Theoretically, this research contributes to the growing discourse on digital religious literacy, demonstrating how algorithm-driven environments mediate new modes of religious engagement. Practically, it provides actionable insights for religious institutions and policymakers to design adaptive and pluralist religious communication strategies in an increasingly mediated society.

Abstract

Radicalism is a doctrine to someone who is closely related to the jihad phenomenon identified with negative actions. Every so often our societies are confronted with terrorist violence because of radicalization. Therefore, this research wants to focus on the role of the family in preventing radicalism and how can social interaction in the environment affect the entry of radicalism towards children. This research used library research based on the type of current research approach. The findings show that the role of education by family units has a great contribution to the deradicalization process, through the important role of education that can be directly exemplified by the family. In addition to the social interaction channels, interaction in social groups with children and other family members, especially in the context of interaction through the internet, also needs to be considered.

Abstract

The readiness of students in the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education to become teachers is an important foundation for producing competent educators. However, the quality of teachers in Indonesia is still relatively low, which is partly caused by insufficient preparation among prospective teachers. The Kampus Mengajar program, initiated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, was introduced to address this issue. This serves as the basis for conducting this study, which aims to determine whether the Kampus Mengajar program influences students’ readiness to become educators or teachers. Thisstudy employs a Systematic Literature Review method, which involves collecting secondary data in the form of scientific articles, journals, and other relevant sources related to the research topic. The research design involves analyzing, identifying, evaluating, and interpreting 11 articles that discuss the Kampus Mengajar program in nationally accredited journals (SINTA-indexed journals). The findings of this study indicate that the Kampus Merdeka program has a significant influence on students’ readiness to become teachers.

Abstract

This study compares the effect of Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Inquiry Based Learning (IBL) learning models on students' numeracy literacy skills. The objectives of the study were to describe students' numeracy literacy skills using both models, to determine the differences in their effects, and to test the improvement in students' abilities after implementation. The study used a quasi-experimental design involving 60 eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Padarincang who were divided into two experimental groups. Data were collected through pretests and posttests of numeracy literacy. The results showed that students who learned using the IBL model had higher numeracy literacy skills and more significant improvements compared to the PBL model. It was concluded that the IBL model was more effective in improving students' numeracy literacy.
