Abstract

Abstract:This study aimed to determine the implementation of classroom management, and to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors in improving the students’ learning outcomes. This research used qualitative method which focused on interviewing the principal and teachers. The data were analyzed through classifying the data, coding and theme creation, then presenting the results. The finding of this study indicated that classroom management had impact on students’ learning outcomes. There were also some supporting factors, such as coordination and motivation from the school and parents who had big part in encouraging the improvement of the students’ learning outcomes. However, there were inhibiting factors, such as learning environment which was not conducive.Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan implementasi manajemen kelas, serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang berfokus pada wawancara kepala sekolah dan guru. Data dianalisis melalui pengklasifikasian data, pengkodean dan pembuatan tema, kemudian menyajikan hasilnya. Temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa manajemen kelas berdampak pada hasil belajar siswa. Terdapat juga beberapa faktor pendukung, seperti koordinasi dan motivasi dari sekolah dan orang tua yang berperan besar dalam mendorong peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Namun, ada beberapa faktor penghambat, seperti lingkungan belajar yang tidak kondusif.

Abstract

This research’s aims to describe about class management and student’s motivation to learn and also to find out if there is an influence of management class on student’s motivation to learn in SMK Negeri 1 Jambi City School Year 2018/2019. This research’s take place in SMK Negeri 1 Jambi City on July 2018 with sample of 52 respondens. Research data obtained by distributing questionnaiers to students. After the questionnaiers is filled and returned to the researcher, then the researcher analyzed the data with descriptive statistics and interference statistics with data analytical techniques simple regression. The result showed that the description of class management has 73,32% quality including good catergory. Then, th decription of student’s motivation to learn has 73,25% quality including high category. While, the influence of class management on student’s motivation’s learn has 28,5% with regression’s equal Y = 47.007 + 0,462 X this is based on determination coefficient, earned value R square as much as 0,285. The result of this research is to recommend the teachers to increase the ability of management class, then the headmaster should give the training to the teachers about class management, and also to students should discussed with teachers and homeroom teacher about class management.Keywords: Class Management, Motivation To Learn

Abstract

This study aims to find out how PAUD curriculum management in Fania Salsabila Barokah Jambi integrated Islamic kindergarten means management includes planning, implementing, organizing, supervising, and evaluating early childhood education curricula and knowing what problems are encountered in planning, implementing, organizing, supervision, and evaluation of early childhood education curricula. This type of research is descriptive and qualitative to obtain information related to curriculum management. The subjects in this study were school principals and teachers. Data collection techniques are by observing, interviewing, and documenting. Curriculum management is a set of plans and learning regarding objectives, content, learning materials, and the methods used as guidelines for learning activities. The curriculum is structured to realize educational goals that must be achieved and learning experiences that students must obtain. The curriculum applied in the Fania Salsabila Barokah Integrated Islamic Kindergarten, Jambi, is the 2013 curriculum, where education manages the 2013 curriculum by prioritizing needs and achieving goals in the vision, mission, and goals national policies that have been set. Curriculum management in Fania Salsabila Barokah Integrated Islamic Kindergarten, Jambi, includes planning, implementing, organizing, supervising, and evaluating the curriculum to ensure all learning activities can be carried out correctly and achieve the expected goals

Abstract

Penelitian ini bermaksud melihat peran kepemimpinan di sekolah terhadap kinerja guru di sekolah. Sampel didapat dari semua guru SMA Attaufiq di Kota Jambi sebanyak 16 dari sebanyak koresponden didapat 80 point, snowball sampling dan purposive sampling, didapat sampel sebanyak. Pengumpulan data diambil dengan cara wawancara langsung kepada guru menggunakan skala Likert 5 poin, dari penelitian memperlihatkan gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah sudah mengimplementasikan strategi tepat, mudah diaplikasikan, dan akuntable. Pada penelitian ini guru yang memiliki motivasi kerja yang baik, dilihat dari capaian kebutuhan baik bersifat sosial, rasa aman, penghargaan, dan aktualisasi diri. Selain itu melihat guru yang memiliki motivasi kerja yang baik dilihat pada kinerja, kualitas kerja, ketepatan waktu, dan taat aturan. Diperjelas dari hasil penelitian betapa berpengaruhnya gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dapat meningkatkan kinerja guru, gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah mampu memotivasi kerja guru akan berdampak pada implementasi strategi pada masa yang akan datang.

Abstract

Learning motivation has a big role in learning success, basically not every student has high learning motivation. Giving motivation can be tried by Guidance and Counseling Teachers and directions with methods such as lectures, classical education, to the application of exclusive assistance. One of the Guidance and Counseling services that can be applied in increasing student learning motivation is group guidance services using role playing techniques. The purpose of this research is to reveal how much the success of students' learning motivation can be increased through role playing technique group guidance services. The methodology used in this research is quantitative with an experimental approach. Instruments or data collection tools used in the form of questionnaires and analyzed using percentage calculations, normality test, homogeneity test, and t test. The results showed that in general, students' learning motivation increased after being given treatment, which can be seen from the results of the posttest, which is in the very high category with an average result of 93. The value of Ttable with Sig. (2-tailed) 0.05, which is 2.160. ____________________________________________________________ Motivasi belajar mempunyai peranan besar dalam keberhasilan belajar, pada dasarnya tidak setiap siswa memiliki motivasi belajar yang tinggi. Pemberian motivas bisa dicoba oleh Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling serta pengarahan dengan metode seperti ceramah, edukasi klasikal, hingga penerapan pendampingan eksklusif. Salah satu layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling yang bisa diterapkan dalam peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa merupakan layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan menggunakan teknik role playing. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengungkapkan seberapa besar keberhasilan motivasi belajar siswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui layanan bimbingan kelompok teknik role playing. Metodologi yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen. Instrumen atau alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa angket dan dianalisis menggunakan perhitungan persentase, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji t.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan secara umum motivasi belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan setelah diberikan treatment yang mana terlihat dari hasil posttest yaitu berada pada kategori sangat tinggi dengan hasil rata-rata 93, hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan  hasil hipotesis diketahui Thitung yaitu sebesar 5.792. Adapun nilai dari Ttabel dengan nilai Sig. (2- tailed) 0,05 yaitu sebesar 2,160.

Abstract

Pemimpin pendidikan dilingkungan sekolah yaitu kepala sekolah.  Seorang pemimpin harus mampu menciptakan iklim dan suasana yang kondusif, aman, nyaman, tentram, menyenangkan penuh semangat untuk guru, karyawan dan siswa sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskrpsikan strategi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah SMA 7 Sarolangun dalam meningkat kualitas kinerja guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif, subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah dan guru. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi kepala sekolah yaitu (1) perencanaan pembelajaran dalam hal ini, kepala sekolah menerapkan bebrapa teknik untuk membantu guru dalam mengembangkan perencanaan pembelajaran, meliputi (a) Pembinaan Kinerja Guru, (b) Diklat. (2) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran, strategi yang digunakan kepala sekolah meliputi (a) Pengawasan pertama (b) sarana memfasilitasi (c) ikut serta dalam keluasan, (d) pemberian motivasi (e) pemberian penghargaan. (3) Evaluasi.

Abstract

Self-control can direct a person to behave in a positive directionand in accordance with the norms that apply in society. Students who have good self-control will suppress the tendency to carry out negative behavior such as verbal aggression. This verbal aggressive behavior causes problems that can lead to fights and disharmonious relationship between students. This research aims to determine the effect of self-control on students’ verbal aggressive behavior. This research is a quantitative research using ex-post facto method with 50 students as research samples obtained through purposive sampling techniques. Analysis of research data using simple regression analysis techniques via SPSS IBM 25. The research results found that there was an influence of self-control on students’ verbal aggressive behavior at SMP Negeri 22 Kota Jambi. This result obtained from the Fcount value of 140.995 with Sig. 0.006 < 0.05. The value of R Square is 0.148, meaning that self-control has an influence of 14.8% on the verbal aggressive behavior of students at SMP Negeri 22 Kota Jambi.
