Abstract

Kualitas adalah target utama dalam pembuatan suatu produk. kualitas produk yang dihasilkan adalah cerminan keberhasilan perusahaan dimata konsumen. Pengendalian kualitas perlu dilakukan dikarenakan kualitas memiliki tujuan untuk menjaga, mengarahkan, mempertahankan, dan meningkatkan kualitas produk agar tetap sesuai dengan standart yang telah ditetapkan. Perusahaan ban di jawa barat sebagai salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang produksi berbagai jenis ban kendaraan bermotor, mobil, maupun bus dan truck di Indonesia. yang dihasilkan disebarkan ke banyak daerah di Indonesia maupun di Mancanegara. yang berada di Tangerang-Banten. Metode peningkatan kualitas salah satunya adalah Six Sigma. Six Sigma memiliki fokus pada mengurangi tingkat cacat, dengan mencapai standar 3,4 cacat perjuta peluang, Six Sigma memiliki 5 fase, Define, Measure, Analyze, Improvement dan Control (DMAIC). Pada penelitian ini, Six Sigma di terapkan di bagian plant mixing center yang memproduksi compound AT-807, dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis pengendalian kualitas dan meningkatkan kualitas dengan cara mengatasi dan mengurangi banyaknya cacat yang timbul sehingga diharapkan adanya perbaikan pada produk yang dihasilkan. Perubahan yang sangat jelas terjadi dari sebelum perbaikan dan sesudah perbaikan yang dapat peneliti rasakan dengan adanya perbaikan ini perusahaan dapat menghemat pengeluaran reject compound yang sebelumnya perusahaan dapat rugi dengan kisaran nominal uang sebesar 6,6 Milyar dan dengan adanya perubahan perbaikan ini perusahaan dapat mengehamat biaya reject dengan sebesar 4,9 Milyar menjadi 1,7 Milyar, dan adanya perubahan perbaikan ini jumlah reject berkurang, dari yang rata-rata reject sebanyak 1910 batch dapat ditekan menjadi 481 batch. Kata Kunci: Kualitas, Pengendalian Kualitas, Six Sigma, Quality Improvement, 5W+1H

Abstract

The background of this research is that there is still waste in the malt powder production process, as evidenced by the results of the questionnaire which show 17% waste defect, 16% inventory and 15% waiting. This study aims to identify waste in the malt powder production process using a lean manufacturing approach and the tools used in this study are value stream mapping (VSM) and value stream analysis tools (VALSAT). The initial stage is to create a value stream mapping curent state, then analysis using process activity mapping (PAM) to identify types of activities such as value added (VA), non value added (NVA) and necesary non value added. From the analysis, the value added ratio is 55.44%. Then perform waste analysis with supply chain response matrix (SCRM) and then analyze waste with quality filter mapping (QFM) for defect types of waste. The percentage of delay activity was 7.09%, where this activity was included in non-added value (NVA) activities and the results of the SCRM analysis of the raw material storage area were 1, 03, the production process area was 0.13 and the finished goods storage area was 0.96. Then the time to fulfill the order fulfillment of malt powder is 47 days with the cumulative physical stock days of 2.1 days. Keywords: Lean Manufacture, Value Stream Mapping, Value Stream Analys Tools, Process Activity Mapping, Lean Production

Abstract

PT. IRC Inoac Indonesia is a manufacturing company with the main products made from rubber base materials. Fulfilling the demand of costumers, of course, the company needs to distribute products as efficiently as possible. Distribution costs are the main focus of the company, because the company only performs cost calculations manually and the determination of routes and transportation networks that are still done manually. In the final task research, it aims to find optimal costs and efficient transportation routes and networks so that the company gets maximum profit. The methods used in this study with the initial solutions are North West Corner, Least Cost and Vogel’s Approxmations Method and supported by the final solution namely Stepping Stone and Modified Distributions. The company's initial distribution fee is Rp.15,894,450,-, after the trial is obtained the initial solution distribution cost of North West Corner amounting to Rp. 12,252,980,-, Least Cost amounted to Rp. 12,255,300,-, Vogel’s Approxmations Method amounted to Rp. 12,243,600,-. While the optimality test of Stepping Stone and Modified Distributions from the three initial solutions obtained the same result of Rp. 12,243,600,-. Based on the final results of this study, the company was able to save costs in June 2021 amounting to 23% of the initial cost of distribution or Rp. 3,650,850,-.Keywords: North West Corner, Least Cost, Vogel’s Approxmations Method, Stepping Stone, Modified Distributions
