Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini  Untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model problem based learning terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran ekonomi di SMAN 15 Pekanbaru,dan Untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran ekonomi di SMAN 15 Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan  Posttest-Only Control Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh siswa kelas xi SMAN 15 Pekanbaru. Pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan random sampling. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan angket motivasi dan tes pretest-posstest hasil belajar. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan uji jalur. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa model problem based learning berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar, model problem based learning berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar, dan motivasi belajar berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh sistem pembayaran COD-cek dulu terhadap minat beli pada e-commerce Shopee pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi FKIP Universitas Riau. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitin ini berjumlah 463 dengan sampel 215. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan proportional random sampling. Instrumen yang  digunakan adalah kuesioner. Uji hipotesis menunjukan nilai thitung sebesar 20.759 ttabel 1,971 dengan nilai sig 0,000 0,05, dari perolehan hasil ini terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara sistem pembayaran COD-cek dulu terhadap minat beli pada e-commerce Shopee. Dengan persentase pengaruh yang diberikan oleh sistem pembayaran COD-cek dulu 66,9% sedangkan sisanya 33,1% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of school learning facilities on students’ learning outcomes in Economics subject at SMA Negeri 19 Pekanbaru. The background of the research is based on the condition of school learning facilities that are still limited and in the development stage, which is suspected to affect learning outcomes, as indicated by the fact that some students have not yet reached the Minimum Mastery Criteria. The sample consisted of 193 students from grades X and XI, selected using proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were collected through documentation and questionnaires, then analyzed using descriptive analysis and simple linear regression. The results of the study indicate that school learning facilities have a positive and significant effect on students’ learning outcomes, as evidenced by the t-test which showed a significance value of 0.00 (< 0.05) and a t-count value of 8.112 greater than the t-table value of 1.972, indicating that the research hypothesis is accepted. The coefficient of determination shows that school learning facilities contribute 25.6% to the improvement of learning outcomes. Thus, it can be concluded that the influence of school learning facilities on learning outcomes is significant in this study.

Abstract

Online learning has actually become part of an alternative learning process at universities since the 90s. And since 2020 there has been a pandemic of COVID-19 conducing whole universities to do online learning. It is just that in the implementation, it causes many problems either from the lecturers or the students themselves. It is caused by many factors that determine as good as the learning or not will be carried out. Therefore, the study described in this article is designed to analyze the determinant factors and the influence on the quality of online learning. The study used 133students of Economics Education of FKIP Universitas Riau as respondents who were selected randomly. Data that were collected through questionnaires were Google form and analyzed by quantitative descriptive and statistical analysis by using Chi-square. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that most of the respondents stated that the quality of online learning that had been carried out has been implemented procedurally based on the criteria for online learning. Furthermore, when it was seen from the determinant factor of the online learning quality, in fact, most of the respondents stated that either the facilities and infrastructure factors or lecturers and students factors, it has been adequate in descriptive analysis and as expected it was. After analyzing the statistical analysis, finally, the three factors also have an influence on the quality of online learning. Accordingly, it could be concluded that as good as online learning implementation or not were depending on the availability of facilities and infrastructure either provided by the universities or the students themselves. In addition, the lecturers who have qualifications and competencies and factors from students, especially those who were related to their enthusiasm and learning skills, technological literacy, communication, and collaboration, also determined the quality of online learning. Thus, based on the results of the study, it was recommended to improve the quality of online learning at universities, the facilities and infrastructure, especially for the facilities of network and LMS, the improvement of the lecturers’ competence in order to make the learning based on the demands of the 21st Century and RI of 4.0, and improve the students’ skills in online learning.

Abstract

This research was a qualitative descriptive study aiming at revealing factors determining students’ self-motivation at Universitas Riau. Selfmotivation was a crucial element in the implementation of blended learning-based curriculum in the industrial 4.0 era. The data for this research were collected by using questionnaires which were distributed through google forms for all students in each faculty. They were selected as the samples in this research with a total of 515 students. The results showed that the score for ‘having motivation to achieve something’ was 4.21 or 84.12% which was categorized as good; the score for the commitment aspect was 4.34 or 86.70% which was categorized as good; the score of the initiative aspect was 3.87 or 77.50% which was categorized as sufficient; the score for optimistic aspect was 4.15 or 83%, and the overall average score was 4.14 or 82.85% which was categorized as good. Based on the 10 indicators as a determining factors for the students’ self-motivation at Universitas Riau, all of them can determine the level of achievement of the self-motivation . Sequentially, the determining factors from the highest to the lowest were needed for lectures, self-introspection, fulfilling class assignments, confidence in abilities, complacency/not giving up easily, enthusiasm for attending lectures, orientation to success, prefering to work on case studies, self-confidence, and managing times for study.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Teaching factory learning on the entrepreneurial interest of eleventh-grade Culinary Department students at SMK Negeri 3 Pekanbaru. The problem raised in this study is the low entrepreneurial interest among students, which is presumed to be caused by the lack of learning experiences that connect theoretical knowledge with real-world practice. The research method used is a correlational approach quantitative approach with an associative type of study. The population consisted of 104 students, and a sample of 51 students was selected using a proportional random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires to measure entrepreneurial interest and documentation of Teaching factory learning scores. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression to examine the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable. The results showed that Teaching factory learning had a positive and significant effect on students’ entrepreneurial interest, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 35,5%. The t-test indicated that Teaching factory learning significantly affected entrepreneurial interest with a significance value of 0.004 < 0.05. These findings emphasize that effective implementation of Teaching factory learning can enhance students’ entrepreneurial interest through contextual learning experiences that foster skills, creativity, and independence.

Abstract

The low student learning outcomes in the subject of Creative Project and Entrepreneurship at a vocational high school in Pekanbaru indicate the need for more varied instructional media to support active and interactive learning. This study was conducted to analyze the differences in students’ learning outcomes with the implementation of Wordwall as a learning medium in the Creative Project and Entrepreneurship subject at one vocational school in Pekanbaru. The research employed a quantitative approach with an experimental design. The sample consisted of 64 students selected through purposive sampling, comprising 27 students in the experimental class and 37 students in the control class. Data were collected through pre-tests, post-tests, and questionnaires. The results of the data analysis revealed a significant difference in learning outcomes between the experimental and control classes following the implementation of Wordwall, as indicated by the independent samples t-test result showing a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.001 < 0.05. The mean post-test score of the experimental class was 92.59, while that of the control class was 80.81. These findings demonstrate that the use of Wordwall as a learning medium significantly affects students’ learning outcomes. Therefore, Wordwall is considered a feasible and effective alternative instructional medium to enhance students’ learning outcomes.
