Abstract

AbstrakSebuah electronic power system telah dirancang dan diimplementasikan untuk menyimpan dan menyalurkan energi listrik. Electronic power system merupakan bagian penting dari satelit yang berfungsi untuk menghasilkan, menyimpan dan menyalurkan listrik. Apabila terjadi kegagalan pada electronic power system, maka seluruh sub sistem yang mendapatkan pasokan daya akan mengalami gangguan. Electronic power system satelit nano yang diteliti berbasis  mikrokontroller keluarga AVR, ATMega 8. Sistem ini dilengkapi dengan sensor ACS712, sensor MAX7500, regulator switching LM2576 dan multiplekser DG560A. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah electronic power system yang berfungsi menyalurkan arus dan tegangan pada masing-masing channel yang digunakan, yaitu 3.3 V, 5 V dan 12V, serta mampu mengendalikan arus dan tegangan apabila terdapat kelebihan beban. Data digabung dalam format string yang dikirim melalui komunikasi serial dan ditampilkan pada Graphical User Interface (GUI). Data hasil pengukuran arus dan tegangan juga dapat disimpan dalam bentuk excel. Kata kunci— Nanosatelit, eps, sensor, power system  Abstract  An electronic power system has been made and implemented to be able to save and distribute electrical power. Electronic power system is an important part of satellite that function to produce, to save and to distribute electrical. If suffers failure on electronic power system, then all the subsystem receiving the supply of power will be in default. Electronic power system of nano satellite that researched is based on microcontroller of AVR family, ATMega 8. This system is completed by ACS712 sensor, MAX7500 sensor, switching LM2576 regulator and  DG560A multiplexer. The result of this research is an electronic power system that function to distribute the current and the voltage in each channel used, namely 3.3 volt, 5 volt, and 12 volt, and able to control the current and voltage if there is overloaded. All these data are then bundled into a single data string which is sent by serial communication and displayed on Grafical User Interface ( GUI ). Data of result of measurement the current and voltage can be deposited in the excel form. Keywords—Nanosatellite, eps, sensor, power system
