Abstract

The government provides full support and facilities for UMKM in Wates Village, Kulon Progo Regency, to develop their business. The use of information technology is considered appropriate to be used as a solution in the marketing of the product. The purpose of this activity is to expand product marketing and create attractive packaging. The method was used is to provide counseling and training on product packaging and digital marketing. Marketing is the spearhead of a business, so it needs to be improved by utilizing existing technology or marketplaces. This activity shows that UMKM people more understand how to apply attractive packaging and used social media to support online marketing. Pemerintah memberikan dukungan dan fasilitas bagi pelaku Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah di Desa Wates Kabupaten Kulon Progo untuk terus mengembangkan usahanya. Pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dinilai tepat digunakan sebagai solusi dalam memperluas produk. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini untuk memperluas pemasaran produk dan membuat kemasan yang menarik. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan memberikan penyuluhan dan pelatihan tentang pengemasan produk dan pemasaran digital. Pemasaran menjadi ujung tombak dalam suatu usaha, sehingga perlu ditingkatkan dengan memanfaatkan teknologi atau marketplace yang sudah ada. Hasil dari kegiatan ini yaitu para pelaku UMKM lebih memahami bagaimana cara mengaplikasikan kemasan yang menarik dan menggunakan media sosial dalam mendukung pemasaran secara online.

Abstract

The potential of Wirokerten Village, Banguntapan District, Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region is quite a lot. The potentials were tourist villages, herbal medicines, BUMDes (fishing, paving block factory construction, hydroponics, and waste sorting). Currently, Wirokerten village had four hectares of land for fisheries which BUMDes manage. However, some things were a problem for the fish breeder group: the absence of water filters for pools so that the water was free from harmful bacteria, water that lack oxygen in each pool, so it could not be used for fish breeding, and lack of lighting at the location of the pool, because the lighting was taken from residents' homes by pulling long cables while the distance from residential areas was quite far. The solution to these problems requires supporting technology to realize the expectations of fish farmer groups, namely portable aerators and pool lighting and water filters to sterilize waste in pool water reservoirs. The purpose of this community service was to help fish farming groups to be able to do fish breeding and rearing independently with the help of aerators and portable lighting and to be able to filter water in pool water reservoirs before it flows into each pool plot.

Abstract

Blade design and material selection for savonius turbines need to accurate to produce high power input. This research aims to make the most robust blade material by vacuum infusion manufactured. The hybrid laminate composite applied in the manufacture of Savonius turbine blades consists of woven carbon fiber with chopped strand mat glass fiber and woven glass fiber. The variations of fiber composition comprised of five layers, namely 5An (5 layers of woven glass fiber), 5Ac (5 layers of chopped strand mat glass fiber), 2C-3An (2 woven carbon fiber-3 woven glass), and 2C-3Ac (2 woven carbon fiber-3 chopped strand mat glass fiber). The results showed 2C-3An for the best variation of hybrid laminate composite with the tensile strength of 219 MPa, with the modulus of elasticity of 6.8 GPa and the smallest density was 1.21 g/cm3.

Abstract

Thermoacoustic generator ia one of energy conversion device that change thermal energy to acoustic form energy. This device can get many beneficial of thermal energy which banned and not be used again from industry, devices of the hospitals, geothermal, and solar energy. The device consist or two type, standing wave and traveling wave. In the research used a standing wave thermoacoustic generator because of the cost is relatively cheaper and the construction is easy to set than traveling wave type. Onset temperature is one of the most important parameter in thermoacoustic generator to be researched. In that aplication, onset temperature can representated how many the performance of this device, if seen by input energy used the system of the thermoacustic generator. Decreasing onset temperature could make  decrease of thermal energy used to generator. Beside stack and resonator length, the other parameter that more important to research is tilted angles. In this researched would be done researched with variation of tilted angles -90º, 0º, dan 90º. It would be found the effective tilted angle used, the performance was presented by the least onset temperature. The result was the tilted angle decreased when the onset temperature decreased too. If seen by the input energy, the best performance of thermoacoustic generator is on 90o tilted angle.

Abstract

Kotoran ternak dapat dimanfaatkan untuk sesuatu yang lebih berharga seperti pupuk organik dan energi alternatif. Kotoran ternak termasuk kotoran sapi dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai pembuatan briket. Pembriketan merupakan salah satu solusi dalam pemanfaatan kotoran ternak. Untuk membuat briket diperlukan alat pencetak manual yang dapat dioperasikan oleh satu orang. Penelitian dimulai dengan perancangan alat menggunakan Software Autodesk Invertor Profesional 2015. Tujuan perancangan ini supaya dihasilkan alat pencetak briket yang praktis dan sederhana namun tetap kuat menopang daya tekan operator. Alat pencetak briket ini memiliki bentuk yang simple dan mudah dipindah dan tidak memakan banyak tempat. Setelah alat cetak briket selesai dirancang kemudian dilanjutkan pada tahap pembuatan alat tersebut.  Dimulai dari memotong bahan, mengelas kemudian merakit semua bagian-bagian. Kemudian dilakukan pengujian fungsional dan dilanjutkan ke proses pembuatan briket. Alat cetak briket manual ini dapat menghasilkan 4 buah briket silinder dengan waktu 25 detik/cetakan dan dapat menghasilkan 28,48 kg briket per jam. Kadar air pada briket-briket tersebut adalah sebesar 25,4%. Selain itu alat pencetak briket ini memiliki dimensi ukuran tinggi 40 cm panjang 25 cm dan lebar 15 cm, dengan begitu alat ini mudah di pindah-pindah.

Abstract

Pemenuhan energi terhadap manusia maupun hewan semakin hari semakin meningkat. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan pemenuhan kebutuhan listrik. Kebutuhan tersebut menjadikan kebutuhan pokok, dimana manusia dan hewan membutuhkan konsumsi listrik 24 jam. Sehingga dibutuhkan energi terbarukan dengan pembangkit tenaga surya untuk listrik 12 jam. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada pemenuhan konsumsi listrik pada kolam ikan nila dengan panel surya 80 WP dan daya aerator 10 watt. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kadar oksigen yang terlarut dalam air, suhu dalam air serta suhu di lingkungan sekitar. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengamatan langsung terhadap oksigen terlarut dengan waktu pengambilan data yang telah ditentukan menggunakan alat ukur Dissolved oksigen yang bisa digunakan di dalam air. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kadar oksigen terlarut dihasilkan sebesar 14.61 mg/l dengan thermal dalam air sebesar 26.30C serta thermal lingkungan sekitar 280C.

Abstract

Onset temperature is one of the most important parameters in thermoacoustic generator to be researched. In that application, onset temperature can representated how many the performance of this device, if seen by input energy, used the system of the thermoacoustic generator. Decreasing onset temperature so decreases the energy that used to generate acoustic energy in thermoacoustic generator. In this researched would be done research of variation of tilted angles -90º, 0º, dan 90º with constant 780 mm of resonator length. The method used two thermocouples installed between the stack side to measure temperature of HHX and CHX, and the ΔT called onset temperature. It would be found the effective tilted angle that used, so the performance is on the best value represented by the least onset temperature. The result is when the tilted angle decrease so the onset temperature became decreased too. In this research, if seen by the input energy, the best performance of thermoacoustic generator is on -90º of tilted angle.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted changes in people's consumption patterns, namely from fundamental markets to online markets, so there needs to be an adaptation from MSME actors. MSMEs are one of the economic sectors that support the economy, especially in developing countries such as Indonesia. MSMEs in Kapanewon Turi, Sleman Regency is one the MSMEs with high potential to develop. However, institutional strengthening is needed for the MSME community in this region because there is no coordination and organization in an MSME community in Kapanewon. In addition, the Packaging of some MSMEs is not up to standard, branding is not yet strong, and the information technology capabilities of MSME actors are still low. Based on these problems, a solution for each problem is needed. Community formation and institutional strengthening of MSMEs were formed and continued with legal registration to become PT MSMEs by presenting resource persons from the Kapanewon Turi office. MSME actors are assisted in registering a NIB (Enterprise Identification Number) to achieve the legality of PT MSMEs. Then, increasing the knowledge and skills of MSME actors in terms of Packaging, branding, and digital marketing is carried out through counseling, training, and mentoring activities. The result of this service is that most MSMEs participants who already have a NIB and take part in counseling, training, and mentoring experience increased their knowledge and skills in Packaging, branding, and digital marketing.

Abstract

This study was aimed to determine the working principle, troubleshooting, and the influence of CVT roller weight variations on Suzuki Nex-FI 2014 motorcycles. This research was conducted by analyzing and comparing the measurement results for each CVT component. This study used an experimental research by holding the throttle at 3,250 rpm. Once steady state is reached, the throttle is rotated up to 10,000 rpm. The results of the troubleshooting analysis and measurement of drive belt wear were from the standard size of 19.50 mm to 18.00 mm. The usage tolerance limit is 18.60 mm. As for the results of the roller variation test using a lighter weight namely 8 and 9 grams. The results show that the maximum results are achieved at low and medium rotational speeds, compared to the use of 11 gr (standard) roller. The weakness of the lighter roller (8 9 grams) is that they only get good acceleration and torque at low revs while at high rotation speed is less than the maximum. The use of standard (11 gram) roller has less maximum acceleration and torque but produces maximum power.

Abstract

Keberhasilan suatu usaha peternakan dapat dicapai melalui bibit, pakan dan manajemen. Rendahnya produktivitas kambing perah di KPP. Pangestu menjadi masalah utama usaha peternakan tersebut. Peternakan KPP. Pangestu memiliki ternak kambing sebanyak 1300 kambing perah. Tujuan dari pengabdian kolaboratif-UMY ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan kepada peternak dalam manajemen kambing perah yang baik sehingga produksi susu dapat meningkat. Penyuluhan merupakan salah satu metode untuk memberikan wawasan pengetahuan bagi peternak tentang pentingnya penambahan nutrisi pada pakan ternak ruminansia. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adanya peningkatan produksi susu dari 300 menjadi 450 lt/hari
