Abstract

KAJIAN FARMAKOGNOSTIK TUMBUHAN JERUJU (HYDROLEA SPINOSA L.)ASAL DESA TELUK SELONG MARTAPURA KABUPATEN BANJAR KALIMANTAN SELATAN PHARMACOGNOSTIC STUDY OF JERUJU (HydroleaspinosaL.)FROM TELUK SELONG MARTAPURASOUTH BORNEO Dyera Forestryana*1 , Arnida2, Rahmat Yunus2 1STIKES Borneo Lestari, 2Universitas LambungMangkurat *dyera¬_forestryana@stikesborneolestari.com ABSTRAK Hydrolea spinosa L., dikenal dengan nama “Jeruju” di desa Teluk Selong Martapura. Daun jeruju digunakan untuk penyakit demam oleh masyarakat sekitar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan data-data yang diperoleh dari investigasi jeruju sebagai obat herbal. Parameter studi farmakognostik digunakan sebagai alat untuk melakukan identifikasi keaslian tumbuhan. Investigasi farmakognostik dilakukan pada tumbuhan yang segar, serbuk daun dan anatomi daun jeruju yang memberikan karakter makroskopik dan mikroskopik (kualitatif) serta secara kuantitatif. Anatomi daun jeruju menunjukkan adanya stomata tipe anomositic, trikoma, kristal kalsium oksalat dan serat elemen. Serbuk daun jeruju diekstrak dengan etanol menggunakan metode maserasi. Identifikasi kimia serbuk daun menunjukkan adanya alkaloid, steroid, tanin, flavanoid dan beberapa karbohidrat. Spesifikasi kuantitatif farmakognostik jeruju digambarkan dengan bahan organik asing 0,01%, abu tidak larut asam 5,30%, abu larut air 4,21 %, abu total 5,85%, kadar sari larut air 26,30 %, kadar sari larut etanol 22,26% dan susut pengeringan 15,34%. Abstract

ABSTRACT Herba Lampasau (Diplazium esculentum Swartz.) contains of flavonoids, saponins and tannins which act as antibacterial, antiseptic, and astringent in wound healing with 20% concentration, to facilitate its use it is formulated in the form of ointment. This study aimed to determine the optimum ointment formula based on before and after of Borneo Journal of Phamascientech, Vol. 03, No. 02, Oktober Tahun 2019 ISSN-Print. 2541-3651 ISSN-Online. 2548 – 3897 Research Article 179 the freeze thaw stability test of its physical characteristics and stability with variations of hydrocarbon base, absorption, washed water, and water soluble. Ointment preparations were made by smelting method, data analysis method on organoleptic, homogeneity and viscosity descriptively while in pH test, spreadability and statistical adhesion of one-way ANOVA. The results showed that the whole formula was semisolida, blackish green, distinctive smelling, homogeneous preparation but after the freeze thaw stability test it was not homogeneous anymore, preparation pH was 5.14- 6.63, preparation spread was 0-66.27 g.cm2 / s, power sticks <1 second, and viscosity 8840-19380 cP. Statistically the value (p-value > 0,05) showed that was not significant before and after the freeze thaw stability test, the overall formula was stable but at pH testing for formulas 2-4 there was a significant change in stability. Thus, it can be concluded that formula 1 on a hydrocarbon basis is the most optimal formula based on its physical characteristics and stability. Abstract

Pandan wangi leaves (Pandanus amaryllifolius Roxb) contain chemical compounds of flavonoids, alkaloids, polyphenols, saponins, and essential oils that have medicinal properties. The aims of this study are to determine the optimum cream formula from pandan wangi extract based on physical characteristics included organoleptic, homogeneity, pH, spreadability, adhesion, viscosity, and type of cream. Pandan wangi leaves were extracted by maceration method using 95% ethanol, then made five formulas with a base ratio of stearic acid and Cera alba, namely F1 (5%:15%), F2 (10%:10%), F3 (10%:20 %), F4 (15%: 5%), and F5 (20%: 10%). The homogeneity test showed that all formulas has good homogeneity, the pH test results were 5.5-6.4, the spreadability ranged from 1.32-28.21 cm g / sec, the adhesion ranged from 3.21-45.92 seconds, the results of the viscosity were 4280-19366 Cps and the type of cream was the M / A. The results of the physical characteristics of the five formulas showed that the pandan wangi leaves cream met the requirements for good topical preparation. The results of the study based on the adhesion, spreadability, and viscosity test showed that the optimum formula obtained at F3 with a concentration of 10%: 20% that fulfilled the physical quality test.
