Abstract

The development of Industry 5.0 is currently experiencing progress and development in various sectors. In the face of free competition, every corporation must own and implement a new strategy or method of competing. The banking sector is one industry that significantly affects the economy. The banking sector has a significant impact on a region's or nation's economic growth. Whether the economy is strong or weak, banking companies will be heavily impacted. This study aims to determine the effect of Intellectual Capital on firm value with financial performance as an intervening variable. This research was conducted at banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018 – 2021. The sample selection method used was purposive sampling, so that 19 observational samples were obtained. Data analysis used in the form of panel data regression techniques and Chow test. The results showed that Intellectual Capital has an effect on firm value, Intellectual Capital has an effect on financial performance, Financial performance has an effect on firm value, Financial performance mediates the relationship between intellectual capital on firm value.

Abstract

To the best work outcomes and collaboration in the workplace, work readiness must meet organized and methodical requirements. The mastery of Soft Skills and Hard Skills shows the employment readiness of graduates to become a professional workforce and ready to compete in the world of work. The aim of this study is to know the influence of Soft Skill and Hard Skill on the preparation for work in Syrian banking students UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung. This research is associative in nature with the type of data used is primary data through the dissemination of questionnaires. Respondents in this study were Syrian banking students UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung with a total of 472 students with sampling methods. The data analysis methods used are data instrument testing, classical assumption testing and double linear regression analysis. The results of this study suggest that, simultaneously (together) as well as partially Soft Skill and Hard Skill have a positive and significant impact on work readiness, which means that the better Soft Skills and Hard Skills, the better a person’s working readiness to compete in the world of work is also better and increases.
