Abstract

Smk Cibening is one of the schools in Cibingbin village, Cibingbin District, Kuningan Regency. The process of this course is intended so that the students can complete the school according to their abilities before continuing to a higher level, namely college. The current process of majors has disadvantages including the unavailability of special application to support courtesy, in helping counseling teachers to determine the right direction, so that the process takes a long time and also can occur a lot of consideration. to help the teachers in determining the majors of students at SMK Cibening. This study uses the Multifactor Evaluation Process (MFEP) method. The criterias used are report cards, national examination results (SKHUN) and majors. The final results of this study found that the decision support system with the Multifactor Evaluation Process (MFEP) method is able to overcome the problems in the process of determining the majors at SMK Cibening.Keywords: decision support system, WATERFALLl, with Multifactor Evaluation Process (MFEP) Method

Abstract

Acceptance of New Students is one of the existing processes in educational institutions such as schools that are useful for screening prospective students who are selected according to the criteria determined by the school to be students students. In general, the process of Admission New Students through the stages of registration, selection tests and announcement of student acceptance.In this research, its application to SMK Negeri 3 Kuningan where in the process of New Student Admission must be decided quickly and precisely therefore it is needed Decision Support System to assist the committee of PPDB in decision making. The method used in this Decision Support System is by Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method.In building this system using the software development method Waterfall model and required tools used for the design include: Flowmap, Context Diagram, Data Flow Diagram, Entity Relationship Diagram And Data Dictionary, created using Microsoft Visio applications. Data collection methods used in the preparation of this thesis is Observation, Library Studies and Interview. This system was developed using PHP and MySQL as database server.The result of this research is decision support system in new student acceptance by using Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method which gives more optimal result in management and value calculation so that PPDB committee can give quick decision.Keywords: New Student Acceptance, Simple Additive Weighting (SAW), Waterfall, DFD, PHP MySQL

Abstract

The rapid development of technology in various field, including the field of electronic, necessity of facility and comfort in controlling the electric devices are important, especially in controlling and monitoring the lamps. Nowdays society can control the electrical devices only with the switch connected by cabel. Then, it is needed a control system and monitoring lamps automatically. One of the systems is using micro controller. Based on the problems identified in Computer Sciences Faculty, system for controlling and monitoring lamps hasn’t  run efectivelly because it still uses manual and it has not got the lamps should be burn. Method of software development used in this research is Rational Unified Process (RUP) method by using design of Unified Modeling Language (UML) such as using case diagram, scenario, activity diagram, class diagram dan sequence diagram. Meanwhile, the problem solving method is using Fuzzy Logic method. System of controlling and monitoring the lamps built by fuzzy logic method is efective automaticallty. The system can be applied to the research object and assist in the process of controlling and monitoring the lamp automatically.Keyword : Rational Unified Proces method, Arduino, Unified Modeling Language,Fuzzy Logic, Controlling and Monitoring the Lamps
