Abstract

This paper describes the main advantages of this DAS module which is that it can be manufactured at a very affordable price and provides good performance is commonly used in industrial control systems. Alternative data acquisition system (DAS) modules can use the LabVIEW interface in motor control systems. The DAS module is controlled by the ATmega64 AVR microcontroller which will communicate in both directions with LabVIEW using the serial communication method. Which is used to obtain 8-bit digital input, 8-bit digital output, 8 analog input channels, and also 2 analog output channels. Digital inputs can be used for 0-5V and 0-24V voltages. The digital output is made open collector with a "low" voltage of 0.276V. For analog input and analog output, this system has an average error of 14.47 in the input range of 1-5V; 72.34 for the 0-10V input range; 0.037 MA for 4-20mA input range, and 16.2 for the 0-10V output range. This system is not designed for use in applications that require real-time accuracy and fast accuracy

Abstract

The drive system is described in detail in this research, since it is the primary component in all circumstances and necessitates cooling machines in industry or at home to have a protection / safety system placed on the motor to prevent losses caused by probable disruptions. Cooling machines are becoming more common nowadays, and each cooling system must have an effective protective mechanism to ensure that the cooling machine's electric motor operates efficiently. Its purpose is to underline the important role of the electric motor protection system in order to guarantee that the engine coolant may be utilized safely and cost effectively for an extended length of time. In terms of electric motor management, safety is grouped into three categories: overload protection, short circuit protection, and short circuit protection and overload protection. Thus, to get the desired outcome, the safety of the electric motor functioning as a controller must be adjusted and thoroughly investigated.

Abstract

Power outages can disrupt service continuity, especially in service activities in the trade, hospitality, hospital, and industry sectors. Nowadays PLN electricity distribution often fails in distribution due to internal and external factors, to meet the continuity needs of electricity, other electrical energy sources are needed so that if there is a power outage from PLN, consumer needs for electrical energy are not interrupted. These sources of electrical energy are temporary to serve the electrical load in the use of electricity PLN is the main energy source. ATS (Automatic Transfer switch), is a tool that functions to move the connection between one power supply voltage source and another automatically. Or it can also be called Automatic COS (Change Over Switch), in this study a single phase ATS will be designed by reducing the number of Contactors to get more economical and easy results in maintenance. ATS in this study uses a relay-based control circuit and Time Delay Relay (TDR). From the test results, this tool can work well in the switching process manually or automatically. When PLN goes out, there is a delay of time for ± 6 seconds before the generator starts. This aims to keep the components from being damaged if PLN sometimes goes out for a moment.

Abstract

Efforts to build Indonesia into an electricity-efficient country require a smart system in its control where the government is obliged to present various policies that can unravel various environmental problems with smart and fast concepts. Where in this research designThis automatic faucet control device that can save electricity is made by utilizing a Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor as the control center and detecting objects in the form of human body parts. This PIR sensor will send instructions to the Relay to move the solenoid faucet which functions as a water flow valve.[1] The results of the analysis show that the PIR (Passive Infrared) sensor on this tool can detect objects within a maximum distance of 150 cm meters. When the PIR sensor receives radiation from an object, the solenoid valve opens the valve to drain water. With the automatic faucet control that is used in the men's toilet, it can make it easier for humans because it can be done by an electronic device in the form of a sensor and a controller.

Abstract

The use of water energy worldwide has increased in recent years to reduce emissions. This abundant energy source has the potential for electricity production of 75 GW throughout Indonesia. However, its construction requires a lot of time and money, so it has not become the main choice to be a solution to energy needs. In this study, we will observe the process of generating electrical energy in Southeast Aceh Regency whose electricity needs are supplied from the Lawe Sikap PLTM which has only been operating for one year, and the Sepakat PLTMH which has been operating since 1997 to determine the level of efficiency and reliability. By measuring the electrical energy and water discharge available each period by the operator at each power plant during January-February 2022. The results show that the Lawe Sikap PLTM and the Sepakat PLTMH can become the main electricity supports in Southeast Aceh Regency with a percentage of 50-85%.

Abstract

Synthesis of silica Li4Ti5O12/soda lime composite has been carried out for the anode component of lithium ceramic battery. The Li4Ti5O12 synthesis method is SSR (solid state reaction) from Li2CO3 and TiO2 powders. All lithium-based materials were calcined at 700oC for 2 hours, then ball milled to obtain finer particles and passed to a filter of less than 400 mesh. Before sintering the powder is dissolved in 99% methanol to make a paste. The Li4Ti5O12 paste was sintered at various temperatures from 750oC, 800oC, 850oC, 900oC to 950oC for 2 hours to obtain optimum electrical properties. The phase formed after sintering was identified by XRD.
