Background: Diarrhea is still a public health problem in developing countries such as Indonesia, because of its high morbidity and mortality. Suvey morbidity carried out by the diarrhea subdistrict, Ministry of Health from 2010 appears to have experienced an increase in incidence Objective: To know find out the description of maternal knowledge about handling diarrhea in infants in Baamang II Public Health Center in 2018 Methods: This type of research uses descriptive method with cross sectional design. The research location was in Baamang II Health Center in March - August 2018 with a sample of 30 people using primary data with accidental sampling technique. Single variable is the knowledge of mothers about handling diarrhea in toddlers Results: Of the 30 respondents there were 11 respondents (36.7%) with good knowledge, 14 respondents (46.7%) were knowledgeable enough and as many as 5 people (16.0%) had less knowledge. Conclusion: The description of maternal knowledge about handling diarrhea in toddlers is mostly knowledgeable enough.
