Abstract

Coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) is a state of health emergency and global concern. Unfortunately, there is no effective therapeutic strategy available in dealing with Covid-19 infection. This can endanger risk groups, especially pregnant women. Various studies are competing to develop the therapeutic potential of Covid-19 from herbal compounds, one of which is curcumin. This study aims to determine the potential of curcumin in turmeric as a preventive modality from Covid-19 in pregnant women. This paper uses literature study. Based on the results obtained, the anti-viral, anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant and anti-coagulant effects in curcumin play an important role in preventing the development of the SARS-CoV-2 virus in humans based on various mechanisms. Low doses of curcumin have also been proven safe for consumption by pregnant women. Therefore, routine and low-dose curcumin supplementation can prevent Covid-19 infection in pregnant women.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic is one of the sixth health emergencies of international concern. The government has implemented several adjustments to people's behavior, such as national and regional lockdowns, social distancing, and restrictions on mobility to reduce the spread of this virus. However, this action raises various adverse social psychological problems, especially for pregnant women as a risk factor for Covid-19. This study aims to determine the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the social psychology of pregnant women. This study uses a method. The result shows the Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on the psychology of pregnant women, both interpersonal and interpersonal. This certainly allows bad things to happen to pregnant women, such as anxiety, depression and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), which leads to complications during pregnancy. Several treatments with a social psychological approach can be done to prevent the impact of the pandemic on the psychosocial impact of pregnant women.

Abstract

The adult phase or the productive phase of a person is spent with various activities both for work or socializing with friends or friends. Generally, someone will prepare for retirement only in the financial sector, not in other social aspects. Many of the elderly feel unappreciated and lonely. Situations like this will usually cause stress in the elderly. As a result of stress in general, if it cannot be overcome by the elderly, it can cause the elderly to experience physical decline. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the source of stress in the elderly. This research is descriptive qualitative research because this research presents descriptive data about the factors that cause stress in the elderly. From research conducted, the elderly experience stress due to changes in the way of life they go through. Many routines with excellent physical conditions are a dream for the elderly. Some of the elderly who do not have financial stability still have to carry out their routine activities without being supported by good physical conditions.
