Abstract

Tata kelola sampah dalam upaya peningkatan pemanfaatan sampah rumah tangga pada Kader PKK Desa Klampok Lor Kabupaten Demak adalah tema dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang diangkat oleh Tim Pengabdian. Latar belakang kegiatan ini karena melihat permasalahan yang dihadapi di Desa Klampok Lor seperti: (1) Masyarakat masih membuang sampah sembarangan, (2) Masyarakat belum memiliki tempat untuk pilah sampah organik dan anorganik, (3) Belum ada pemanfaatan sampah organik dan atau anorganik, (4) Masih terbatasnya pengetahuan tentang tata kelola sampah dan menyebabkan penumpukan sampah tanpa solusi. Oleh karena itu perlu upaya-upaya dalam pengelolaan sampah dan yang tepat, sehingga dapat meningkatkan nilai ekonomis dari sampah tersebut. Melalui pengabdian kepada masyarakat kali ini, diharapkan mampu memberikan solusi kepada permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat di desa Klampok Lor. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini terdiri dari (1) Persiapan, (2) Pelaksanaan, dan (3) Evaluasi dengan peserta. Kegiatan diawali penyampaian materi dengan ceramah, diskusi dan tanya jawab tentang manajemen pengelolaan sampah dan dilanjutkan dengan demonstrasi penangganan sampah rumah tangga seperti sisa makanan dan dedaunan untuk pembuatan kompos. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta kegiatan telah menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman tentang tata kelola sampah. Hal ini ditandai dengan keseriusan peserta kegiatan ketika melakukkan pemilahan sampah dan praktek pembuatan kompos. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa (1) Penyuluhan dan pelatihan pengelolaan sampah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan memberikan solusi serta meningkatkan kesadaran dan perubahan sikap kepada masyarakat desa Klampok Lor dalam pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga. (2) Dalam pelatihan pengelolaan sampah masyarakat dapat berperan dalam teknik pemilahan sampah organik dan anorganik, dan dapat mengolah sampah organik menjadi kompos. (3) Perlunya keberlanjutan kegiatan pengabdian untuk penangganan dan pengelolaan sampah anorganik dengan membuat bank sampah dan pembuatan kreatifitas daur ulang sampah menjadi barang yang lebih bernilai guna.

Abstract

The mininstry of sea transportatioin in an attempt new vessels and goods service system already lounching new progremme based on national single windows called inaportnet.in effectifiy inaportnet operation system, quality of human resources is very influential. Methodolgy research on this papper is quantitative methode for testing the hypothesis the influence of readiness of human resources ans infrastructures in increasing of effectiveness of shipping agency servicess based on inaportnet. Quality of human resources will be obtained as maximal cannot be separated from several factors, such as: education level, experiences, dan training. Other than human resources, one thing that support effectivity of inaportnet application is facilities that support operating of inaportnet programme. This research will be test korellations between readiness of human resources and facilities to effectiveness of shipping agency services based on inaportnet with est equipment is SPSS application. The result of the calculation of the normality test obtaied a significant level result of human resource quality (X1) is 1. 128 with n=40. Its maning 1.128>0.05. can take the resume that populaitin of readiness of human resources (X1) is normally distributed. For the normally test facilties and indrastructures variables (X2) get the result 0.666 wiyh n=40. Ite meaning 0,666 >0.05, and can take the resume that population data of facilities and infrastuctures is normal distributed. Normality test vor variable Y is found that significance level the effectiveness of shipping agency services based on inaportnet (Y) is 0.737 with n=40. And the meaning is 0.737>0.05, and can take the resume that population data of effectiveness shipping agency servicess based on inaportnet is normal distributed.

Abstract

All human societies are shaped by language, and language itself is shaped by society. Every social institution is maintained by language. Seafarer, government, education, the family, all are carried on with language. Almost all of our contact with others involves speaking.  People speak differently according to their background. Often, the social characteristic of one person can be determined from his speech, education, and even occupation. Also, they speak differently according to the actual circumstances they find themselves at a particular time. For seafarers to be able to communicative effectively, they need to be able to use and understand English in arrange of situations. Being able to use English means that the seafarer can combine the building blocks of language (grammar, vocabulary, phonology) to express himself clearly and appropriately in speech and writing. Being able to understand English means that the seafarer can interpret messages that he hears and reads correctly and can respond to these messages appropriately and comprehensibly. When a seafarer’s can demonstrate the ability to do this, he proves his communicative competence in English. Maritime communication comprises communication between vessels and coast stations, intership communication and intraship communication (internal communication when the vessel is berthing, casting off or un berthing, leaving berth, loading and discharging, etc). Vessels and coast stations can communicate by means of radio telephony, satellite, Digital Selective Calling (DSC) and radio-telex. The categories of messages that can be transmitted and received are called priorities. They indicate the importance of the message. In maritime communication has a specific communication for communicating between vessels and coast- stations, vessel and vessel called SMCP (Standard Marine communication Phrases).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the difference between before and after the implementation of the new system in loading and unloading services at PT. Samudra Indah Sejahtera Semarang. The new system implemented in the company is inaportnet system. It would find out whether there are developments in the quantity and quality of the number of customers and services by the company. Sample from this study is consumers owned by PT. Samudra Indah Sejahtera as many as 25 companies. The results were analyzed statistically to look for the differences between the condition. This quantitative research used non-parametric test for two two independent samples, using the Kolmogorov Smirnov Test formula. The finding is there is no difference between before and after the implementation of a new system. It means that the implementation of a new system does not have a significant effect on services provided related to reliability factors. The application of a new system does not significantly affect the service provided in factors of responsiveness, assurance, and empathy.

Abstract

Nelayan adalah salah satu pekerjaaan atau mata pencaharaian sebagian besar masyarakat yang tinggal di pesisir pantai Indonesia. Profesi sebagai seorang nelayan selain membutuhkan keberanian yang tinggi juga memerlukan suatu keahlian dan pengalaman. Setiap nelayan mempunyai karakteristik dan tingkat pendidian yang berbeda sehingga akan ada banyak persepsi dan tigkat kesaran yang berbeda akan pentingnya penggunaan peralatan keselamatan selma melaut atau mencari ikan.Tingkat pendidikan merupakan sdalah satu pemicu kurangnya kesadaran nelayan akan pentingnya penggunaan perlatan keselamatan. Nelayan beranggapan bahwa pengunaan peralatan keselamatan tidak mutlak diperlukan selama melaut karena sebagian besar nelayan beranggapan adalah pada hasil tangkapan ikan bukan pada proses penagkapan sehingga mereka mengindahkan pentingnya peralatan kesamatan di atas kapal. Teori yang digunakan utuk menganalisa karakteristik individu dan kesadaran akan keselmaatan berlayar menggunakan teori keselamatan dan teori karakteristik individu. metode yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah metode observasi langsung, metode wawancara dan metode studi pustaka. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 50 responden yang mengisi kuasioner dimana jawaban dari responden tersebut diskor dengan menggunakan skala Likert. Selanjutnya data diolah dengan menggunakan analisi data teknik Pearson Product Moment.Hasil korelasi antara variabel karakteristik individu dengan kesadaran akan penggunaan peralatan keselamatandenganmenggunakan uji korelasi dinyatakan valid dengan responden 50, nilai kritis sebesar 0,361 yang dikorelasikan tiap butir dinyatakn valid. dimana Karakteristik individu mempengaruhi kesadaran akan penggunaan perlatan keselamatan pada nelayan di kota Kendal.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the occurrence of demurrage as a result of the delay in the issuance of the Sailing Approval Letter (SPB). The object of this research is a ship agency company located in Banten. This research is a qualitative research which is presented descriptively by narrating the results of observations at PT. Adi Bahari Nuansa Banten and equipped with data related to problems caused by the ship shifting process and bad weather factors that have an impact on delays in the issuance of SPB. This study shows that the ship shifting process and bad weather factors have an impact on delays in issuing SPB and cause demurrage. Collecting data on this research is done by direct observation on object research and by interview with some partipiants by random that the participants is parties involved on process of loading and unloading activiteis in PT. Adi bahari Nuansa Banten. The result oof direct observatioan oan interview get the result about both of variables on this research that is shifting and bad weather has an impact on delaying of process for issuing SPB document and the next has impact on emergence demurrage or additional cost that must be incurred by shipping company to port operator party.

Abstract

There are many factors that influence the related problems faced in the field with the level of competence and transactional leadership style. These various factors affect the job satisfaction and performance of crew members at Miclyn Express Offshore, Pte., Ltd. This research was conducted using a verification study model with quantitative data. Verificative research was conducted to test the theory and the results of previous studies. Respondents in the research conducted were crew members of the Miclyn Express Offshore, Pte., Ltd. company which is abbreviated as MEO. MEO company is a company engaged in the transportation sector operating Anchor Handling Tug Supplay (AHTS). Data analysis was carried out by conducting validity tests, reliability tests, normality tests and Sobel tests. The conclusion of this study is that the competence of the crew has a positive and significant effect on the job satisfaction of the crew at Miclyn Express Ofshore, Pte., Ltd. The higher the competence possessed by the crew, the higher the satisfaction felt by the crew when working at Miclyn Express Offshore, Pte., Ltd. The transactional leadership style has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the crew at Miclyn Express Offshore, Pte., Ltd. . Transactional leadership has a positive contribution to improving the performance of the crew, so that with the increase in transactional performance implemented, the performance of the crew of Miclyn Express Offshore, Pte., Ltd and there is an effect of mediation or intervention from transactional leadership and crew on the performance of the crew through job satisfaction. crew at Miclyn Express Offshore,Pte.,Ltd. work objectives are able to increase the contribution of transactional leadership and ship strength to ship performance at Miclyn Express Offshore, Pte., Ltd.

Abstract

In carrying out of duties as a teacher, in addition to teaching, a teacher also required to be able to make a good scientific work. Writing ability is one of main subject of the teacher when purpose a scientific work. But the reality, still faced some teachers that minus of ability on purpose a good scientific work. Using the latest version of application technology that improved purposes scientific work progress not fully handle as well by teachers on SMA N 1 Limbangan is one of issue for the present time. FGD (Focus Discussion Group) that doing by polimarin lectures and SMA N 1 Limbangan teachers expected can improve kowladge and ability of the teachers on literature skill and purposing scientific work (chapter book) as an obbilgation of the teachers on SMA N 1 Limbangan. The result of FGD is given knowledge and skill for the teachers for using Mendeley application as a tool for citation a reference. Aside from that given knowledge and skill for the teachers abaout paraphrase of the words, its have benefite for teacher for purposing scintifics work without doing plagiarism. And the last is given knowledge and skill about using application of electronic information system called SCI hub for downloading some journal as a reference for purposing scientific work for free.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini adalah memberikan gambaran terkait konsep halal logistik yangsaat ini seang berkembang di Indonesia. Pengetahuan adalah salah satu faktor yang dapat mendukung kinerja sumber daya manusia pada kegiatan halal logistik. Digabungkan dengan konsep nilai islam maslahah, diharapkan mampu menjadi pengetahuan yang bermafaat bagi semua pihak dalam penanganan logistik halal. Munculya inovasi baru dalam dunia bisnsi berupa teknologi blockchain menjadikan aspek pengetahuan memiliki peranan yang sangat penting menuju kinerja SDM yang unggul dan mampu memenuhi harapan perusahaan. Konsep halal logistik memiliki peran dominan dalam memenuhi persepsi dan harapan dari konsumen khususnya konsumen muslim di Indoensia. Implementasi dari teori Resourve Based Theory (RBV), dimana sumber daya merupakan asset yang dimiliki oleh perusahaan, dan apabila sumber daya dimanfaatkan secara maksimal maka tujuan perusahan akan dapat dicapai. Melalui karya ilmiah ini memberikan gambaran konsep maslahah knowladge dengan penerapan teori RBV terhadap kinerja SDM pada perusahaan penyedia jasa logistik, dan harapannya mampu mewujudkan implementasi dan integrasi logistik halal di Indonesia.
