Abstract

Appropriate and appropriate learning methods in educating children are veryimportant things. With interactive multimedia technology that is widespread,we can use it as a learning media. Interactive multimedia development makesit possible to create an interactive educational media called "Learning ArabicVocabulary". The making of interactive multimedia "Learning Arabic Kosa-Kata" is designed based on a case study from the Elementary School (Al-Azhar Elementary School) that applies Arabic language learning. Using theright and varied media in the learning process can increase learningmotivation and can reduce student passivity (Hardianto,2005). Vocabularylearning is a very important material in language learning. A person will notbe able to speak a language before he enriches himself with vocabulary fromthat language. Likewise with children in this case. After the survey andinterview conducted at Al Azhar Elementary School located at Tiban 1,Patam Lestari, Kec. Sekupang, Batam City Prov. Riau Islands, on October31, 2018, the parties from the school in question were very hopeful that thisinteractive multimedia "Learning Arabic Kosa-Kata" could immediately beready for distribution.

Abstract

The process of extracting oil and gas is carried out by drilling with a depth of more than 200 meters below the surface of the ground, so one steel pipe is needed to run the process. The manufacture of steel pipes for the opening process has special standards, one of which is a long pipe. To reach a depth of 200 meters below the ground level, a pipe connection is needed to reach that height. The method of connecting the pipes is called the Thread Connection Type. This method has more than 20 types of threads to be applied in pipe joints. To facilitate the discussion of the types of threads and their specifications, we need a technology that can be used interactive and mobile learning media to deliver detailed information on the type of thread. The author uses the use of Augmented Reality (AR) technology to be applied as an Android-based training media that can facilitate the existing Connection Thread along with special specifications with 3D visualization. This study aims to measure the validity and practicality of using ISO 25010 (in terms of functional suitability, performance efficiency, portability and usability) of learning media so that it is easier to understand and practical. The study consisted of two parts: 1) Validity by experts (5 experts), 2) Practicality by trainees or employees (16 participants) using the USE Questionnaire instrument. Furthermore, in application development using the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method as its development method. As a result, the application was declared feasible with the results of the percentage of experts Validity of 96% and Practicality by employees of 79%.

Abstract

In making mosque profile videos, the author chooses to use video to make it more interesting to see both in the community and for a wider scope such as introducing the media as religious tourism. Methods for using data using observation and literature study. After obtaining data to solve existing problems, namely using SWOT analysis (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats) in order to position which ones need attention in the mosque profile video and be different from other mosques. In making a video profile of the Sultan Mahmud Riayat Syah Mosque, the author uses the Luther Sutopo method. There are 6 (six) stages of the development method, namely concept, design, material collection, assembly, testing and distribution. The research that resulted from the making of video profiles was analyzed from the quality of the video which was measured from the material and media aspects using the Likert scale and got "Very Good" results from the respondents with an interpretation value of 83.4%. Then with an analysis of the aspect of public understanding using the One Group Pre-test and Post-test, which before watching the video with an average value of 45 and after watching the video increased with a value of 83.
