Abstract

Autogenic relaxation is one technique that originates from oneself in the form of words or short sentences that can make the mind calm. Autogenic relaxation is done by imagining oneself in a state of peace and calm, focusing on breathing regulation and heart rate thereby reducing physiological tension in primigravida mothers. Maternal death and illness is still a serious health problem in developing countries. According to the 2012 Indonesian Nursing Diagnosis Standards Report (SDKI), it is explained that in 1990 and 2015 the global maternal mortality ratio decreased by 44% to around 216 deaths per 100,000 live births, not reaching the MDGs and far from the target of 70 maternal deaths per 100,000 live births set in agenda 2030. The purpose of the research is to find out the effect of giving autogenic relaxation to the anxiety level of primigravida mothers in (Independent Practice Midwife) BPM Kurnia Deli Tua. The method used in this study is the Pre and post experimental methods. The sample in this study was trimester III primigravida pregnant women who experienced anxiety as many as 20 respondents in (Independent Practice Midwife) BPM Kurnia Delitua. Effect of Autogenic Relaxation on the Anxiety Level of Primigravida at (Independent Practice Midwife) BPM Kurnia Deli Tua District Deli Serdang Regency.

Abstract

Exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months has been scientifically proven to meet the nutritional needs of babies. The mother's ineligibleness in providing exclusive breast milk is one of the causes of the mother's lack of confidence that the mother's breast milk is able to meet the nutritional needs in her baby. Breast milk that does not come out or breast milk comes out only slightly makes the mother feel that her breast milk is not enough so the mother chooses to provide her baby with formula milk on her baby. Concerns in the mother will result in oxytocin hormone inhibited. Where this hormone is very impactful for the production of prolactin hormone as stimulation of breast milk production. The effort that can be made one of them to stimulate hormone prolactin and oxytocin is to give the mother a taste or relax sensation. That's by way of woolwich massage. the purpose of this research is to find out the effect of Woolwich massage on breast milk production in sri wahyuni clinic in marbau sub-district. The benefits are to help mothers post partum to increase their breast milk production, so it is expected that the mother can provide her breast milk exclusively for 6 months. The samples in this study had no counter indication of this research method using quasi experiment with pre test-post test design with control group. The results showed that the average expenditure of breast milk before doing a Woolwich massage was (26.93) with a standard deviation (7,905) and the average after doing a Woolwich massage was (83.93) with a standard deviation (7,713) with sig < 0.05. Conclusion: there was an increase in secretions and the amount of breast milk expenditure after woolwich massage was given.

Abstract

The birth process occurs naturally when the time has come. However, this process can lead to problems such as trauma to the delivery mother, namely trauma to the perineal area. Perineal trauma is usually a tear, can occur spontaneously or intentionally with an episiotomy. Tear if not handled properly and immediately it can cause postpartum infection problems because the wound becomes a place for germs to grow. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of using breast milk and decoction of kersen leaves stew on the length of time for perineal wound care at Citra Marendal Clinic. The method used in this study was Posttest Only Control Group Design. The postpartum mother took a sample of 62 respondents with inclusion criteria and used two groups based on breast milk treatment 31 respondents and 31 respondents with decoction of cherry leaves. Statistical test analysis using the Mann Whitney test, the P-value is (0.032) < (0.05) with a z-count value of 2.139, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that the perineal wound healing process in the intervention group that was given breast milk was faster than the group. intervention given the decoction of kersen leaves stew.
