Abstract

The research was motivated by students who were not able to interacted with social.Based on the observation shown that there were students who are members of the students’ unionavoided from social contact who were not members of students’ union. The research wasconducted at SMK Negeri 6 Padang. This study aimed to determine the social interaction ofstudents who follow OSIS were seen from social contact and communication. This research isdescriptive quantitative. The populations of the study were all students who followed the students’union at SMK Negeri 6 Padang. The sampling technique was conducted with a total samplingwhere all learners who followed OSIS as research samples for specific purpose. The researchertook 28 students as samples in this study who followed the students’ union at SMK Negeri 6Padang. Data were obtained through a questionnaire. The data were processed using techniquespercentage. From the data analysis it can be concluded that the social interaction of students whofollow OSIS were seen from social contact and communication that have categorized very good.Social interaction of learners who followed OSIS were seen from social contact which were have acategorized very good. These results indicate that the majority of learners who followed OSISwere seen from social contacts that have very good social interaction. meanwhile social interactionof students that followed the students’ union were viewed from their communication, which beseen the categorized very good. These results indicated that the majority of students who followedstudents’ union were viewed from their communication that have very good social interaction.
