Abstract

MosquitoAedes aegyptiis a major causeof Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever(DHF) ischaracterized bysudden onset of fever, bleedinginthe skinor other body parts, appearshockorshock, anddeath. So the need forhighly motivatedand spreadall over so that people aremoved tobe more careabout thehealth of the real participation of people forDHF.This researchaims to describe themotivation ofthe patriachinthe mosquitoAedesaegyptieradicationinthe hamlet Jembrung2BulusariGempolPasuruan district. The designof this studyusing themethodDiskriptif. The samplingmethodusedisNon-ProbabilityTypepurposivesampling. Samples takenby 30 respondentsareheads of householdsin the hamlet2BulusariGempolJembrungPasuruanregency. The research datawas takenusing aquestionnairesheet. The results showedthat thechiefmotivation ofthe familyof 30respondents,3respondentspick thehighmotivation(10%) of 17respondentshavemoderatemotivation(56.7%) andas many as10respondentshavelessmotivation(33.3%). Viewingresearch resultsistheneed forspecial attentionto thehead ofthe familyin the eradication ofAedes aegypti mosquitothathasmotivatedso as to reducethe incidence ofdengue diseasewhichhas led toa variety ofsocial unresteach year.

Abstract

Background of the researchCritical thinking abilities that will enhance students ability to achieve expected competencies , also need a good motivation to improve the ability to think critically influenced by the teaching methods adopted by the educational institution in which the student study space , so that the learning process can be well received by students .Research PurposeThis study aimed to analyze the differences in the influence of learning methods Problem Based Learning with Cooperative Learning on the motivation and ability to teach critical thinking in the lesson Medical Surgery of the respiratory system .MethodThis study is the True Experimental design , implemented in Nursing Academy Bina Sehat PPNI Mojokerto . Consisted of 121 respondents with a sampling technique Randomized control trial .Research instruments is questionnaire. That is about the learning motivation and the ability to think critically . All declared valid and reliable .Analysis of the data analysis using Kruskall Wallis test and to compare between groups using the Mann Whitney .Result of the researchThere are differences in the effect of problem-based learning instructional methods and cooperative learning on learning motivation demonstrated by the Kruskal-Wallis test with significant values (p <0.016), while the ability to think critically Kruskall Wallis test results show the value (p <0.00) in the Healthy Development of Nursing Academy students PPNI district Mojokerto.Setelah several variables studies conducted with the Mann-Whitney statistical test results on critical thinking ability differences are statistically significant effect between learning methods Problem Based Learning with Conventional differences were highly significant effect (p <0.00), whereas Motivation learning differences that are statistically significant effect between learning methods Problem based learning with cooperative learning (p <0.005).ConclusionThere are differences that are statistically significant effect on the learning methods Problem Based Learning and Cooperative Learning in the ability to think kritis.Ada differences influence learning methods Problem Based Learning and Cooperative Learning on student learning motivation in the eyes of Medical Surgery Nursing teaching Healthy Development PPNI MojokertoKeywords :learning methods , Problem Based Learning , Cooperative Learning , conventional , learning motivation, the ability to think

Abstract

Family support are attitude, action and acceptance family towards patients who get illness. The members of family consider that a people who have full of support always ready to give helps and assistance if they needed. The anxiousness is part of human’s life that signed by fearfullness or deeply nervousness and having a continously. This research purposes to determine the relationship of family support with anxiety levels in appendictomy preoperative patients at Prof. Dr. Soekandar hospitals Mojokerto. This research is a correlational research with cross sectional approach. The population was all apendictomy preoperative patients. The sampling method was consecutive sampling. The analysis of the relationship of family support and the level of anxiety apply Spearman Rho correlation test showed a significant relationship with p = 0.004 (<α 0.05). The result showed that family support in medium category was 2 people (13%), the family support in good category was 12 people (80%), the family support in excellent category was 1 (7%), while the number and percentage of respondents who experienced in mild anxiety as much as 4 people (27%), moderate anxiety as much as 9 people (60%), and severe anxiety as much as 2 people (13%). There is no respondents in analysis who have family support in less category, and There is no respondents in analysis who have not experienced a panic and anxiety. The level of anxiety was influenced by family support, pain, ignorance, disanlement, death and anesthesia. However, the factors that affect the level of anxiety that is family support. The anxiousness would be lower if you have a good family support.Keywords: Family Support, Anxiety Level, appendictompreoperative patient.
