Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of leadership style and career development on employee performance at CV Setia Kawan Medan. The data analysis method used in this study is a statistical analysis method using multiple linear regression equations. The research population is 45 employees who work in CV Setia Kawan. So the number of samples is the same as the population of 45 employees. Researchers tested the classical assumptions first before doing regression testing. The results showed that the calculated F value (8.907) was greater than the F table value (3.214), and sig.α (0.000a) was smaller than 5% alpha (0.05), so that leadership style and career development had a simultaneous effect. on employee performance at CV Setia Kawan Medan. Leadership style has an effect on employee performance at CV Setia Kawan Medan. Career development affects employee performance at CV Setia Kawan Medan. The influence of leadership style and career development on employee performance at CV Setia Kawan Medan is 80.2% while 19.8% is explained by other variables not included in this research model such as training, job stress and motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work life balance and work stress on performance with job satisfaction as a moderating variable for employees at the Ministry of Religion Office of South Tapanuli Regency. The population in this study were 58 people. The technique used in sampling is purposive sampling. The data analysis tool uses SPSS. The results of the analysis show that Work Life Balance has a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction at the Office of the Ministry of Religion of South Tapanuli Regency. Job stress has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction at the Office of the Ministry of Religion of South Tapanuli Regency. Work Life Balance has a positive but significant effect on performance at the Office of the Ministry of Religion of South Tapanuli Regency. Job stress has a positive and significant effect on performance at the Office of the Ministry of Religion of South Tapanuli Regency. Job satisfaction has a positive but not significant effect on performance at the Office of the Ministry of Religion of South Tapanuli Regency. The direct effect of Work Life Balance on performance is greater than the indirect effect of Work Life Balance on performance. The direct effect of work stress on performance is smaller than the indirect effect of work stress on performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of emotional intelligence and organizational culture on organizational commitment through job satisfaction as an intervening variable at pt. capella multidana. The population in this study was 492 people, with a sample of 81 people at a 90% confidence interval. The technique used in sampling is purposive sampling. The data analysis tool uses SPSS. The results of the analysis show that emotional intelligence has a positive and insignificant effect on job satisfaction at PT. Capella Multidana. Organizational culture has a positive and insignificant effect on job satisfaction at PT. Capella Multidana. Emotional intelligence has a positive but not significant effect on organizational commitment at PT. Capella Multidana. Organizational Culture has a positive and insignificant effect on organizational commitment at PT. Capella Multidana. Job satisfaction has a positive but not significant effect on organizational commitment at PT. Capella Multidana. The direct effect of emotional intelligence on organizational commitment is smaller than the indirect effect of emotional intelligence on organizational commitment. The direct effect of organizational culture on organizational commitment is smaller than the indirect effect of organizational culture on organizational commitment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether communication and work environment affect employee performance through job satisfaction as an intervening variable at Royal Prima Hospital Medan. The study was conducted on 105 non-medical employees of Royal Prima Hospital Medan using saturated sampling technique. The data collection technique used is primary data in the form of questionnaires and secondary data obtained through documentation studies. The data analysis technique uses quantitative data which is processed with SPSS version 25 program, namely t test, coefficient of determination (R2) and path analysis. The results obtained in this study indicate 1) there is a significant influence between communication on motivation, 2) there is a significant influence between work environment variables on motivation, 3) there is a significant but not significant effect between motivational variables on performance, 4) there is a significant but not significant effect between communication variables on performance, 5) there is a significant influence between work environment variables on performance, 6) motivation variables can affect communication variables on performance, 7) motivational variables can affect work environment variables on performance. The ability of communication variables, work environment and motivation in explaining employee performance at Royal Prima Hospital Medan is 72.9%, while the remaining 27.1% is explained by other variables not included in this research model.
