Abstract

Strategies To Survive In The Port Of Samarinda Baggage Workers. Guidance Mrs. Eny Rochaida and Mrs. Muliati.This research is to know the socio-economic conditions of key informant research, to find out the survival strategies of key informant families. The key informant in this study was luggage workers at Samarinda Harbor. The type of research in this thesis is qualitative research with primary and secondary data with purposive sampling. Because low income makes luggage workers carry out various strategies carried out by baggage workers in overcoming economic difficulties. The strategies they do are optimization of human resources, emphasis / tightening of expenditure, and network utilization.
