Abstract

Linguistic landscape is one area of ​​sociolinguistics that examines specifically the phenomenon of language use in public spaces, be it monolingual, bilingual or multilingual. Islamic boarding schools as geographically exclusive Islamic educational institutions have a linguistic landscape phenomenon that is characterized and based on Arabic. This is in line with the Islamic orientation built in pesantren education. This study aims to explore the use of Arabic in the public space of Islamic boarding schools and its contribution to the development of Arabic language skills and Islamic knowledge of students. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive analysis. In this study, data collection used the observing method and the documentation method. The listening method is used to collect data in the form of writing while the documentation method is used to collect data in the form of pictures taken by cell phone. All data is processed and given a code and then selected based on who produced the text. The results of this study are: (1) The linguistic landscape of Arabic in the pesantren environment is categorized into 3 categories: verses of the Qur'an, Matan Hadith Nabawi, and Maqolah of Ulama. (2) The linguistic landscape of Arabic is part of the pesantren learning process indirectly, especially in supporting classroom learning so that it is internalized in life. (3) The linguistic landscape of Arabic has significance in developing the Arabic language skills and Islamic knowledge of the students in the pesantren environment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the whisper-chain game (al-asrar al-mutassilah) on improving students' listening skills in learning Arabic. In an effort to improve students' skills in learning Arabic, various methods are needed, including the application of active and interactive learning methods and techniques. Nowadays, various methods and techniques in learning that can be applied have emerged, including playing techniques. This study uses an experimental method with the subject of this research being students of class X MA Sabilillah Kebonsari Sukodadi Lamongan. Data were collected using test, documentation, and observation techniques. The results of this study indicate that the whispering game (al-asrar al-mutasalilah) is effective in improving the listening skills of the tenth grade students of MA Sabilillah Kebonsari Sukodadi Lamongan in learning Arabic

Abstract

Media pembelajaran merupakan salah satu komponen penting dalam dalam pembelajaran. Diperlukan berbagai media pembelajaran untuk membantu guru dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan menyajikan materi pembelajaran agar menjadi efektif dan menarik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pengetahu pengaruh media pembelajaran gambar terhadap peningkatan minat siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa. Dalam penelitian ini metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes, observasi dan dokumntasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah : 1) penggunaan media gambar dalam meningkatkan minat belajar bahasa Arab siswa terdiri dari 2 siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan; perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. 2) peningkatan minat dan hasil belajar bahasa arab siswa dengan menggunakan media gambar, yang semula nilai rata-rata sebesar 61,3% meningkat menjadi 68,6% pada siklus I, pada tes II meningkat menjadi 69,3%, pada siklus II lebih meningkat lagi menjadi 80%.

Abstract

Error analysis is an analytical study of linguistic errors committed by an individual or group of individuals during the production of the first second language in speech or book. This analysis is concerned with classifying errors from two aspects: linguistic classification, such as grammatical errors, spelling, writing, or semantics. The Sinaitic classification is a mistake due to the first language to the second language, or a coincidental error. Error analysis focuses on the target language, it is known that there is a difference between languages in several areas and from structures, book and sound. This difference causes problems for students in learning the target language and makes mistakes in some areas, and the analysis reveals all the errors found. Grammatical errors include phonemes, morphology, and grammar, and the results of the book research indicated that grammatical errors are more frequent when a foreign language learner in the process of linguistic skill, and because one of the goals of teaching grammar rules in education stages is to establish the tongue and reduce melody in speech, the learner reads, speaks, or books He did not raise up, nor did he shorten erect.

Abstract

In accordance with what has been stipulated in the Regulation of the Minister of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia that Arabic language subjects are subjects that are directed to encourage, guide, develop, and foster abilities and foster a positive attitude towards Arabic, both receptively and productively. Reading skills (maharah al-qiro'ah) in learning Arabic at Madrasah Aliyah are one of the four basic language skills that must be taught by teachers and mastered by students. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method that seeks to collect as much information as possible through documentation, interviews, and observations to be further studied and analyzed and draw the final result in the form of conclusions. The results obtained are the reality in the field shows that the teaching of language reading skills Arabic is done by the teacher not everything goes well, in fact there are still many problems that result in learning objectives cannot be achieved. Therefore, teachers need to understand and master various important aspects of teaching reading skills so that teaching activities can run well and the stated teaching goals can be achieved.

Abstract

Untuk mencapai keberhasilan dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab ada banyak aspek yang harus diperhatikan, dan salah satu diantara aspek yang perlu mendapatkan perhatian serius adalah aspek pengelolaan kelas. Pengelolaan kelas memiliki tujuan untuk menciptakan dan mempertahankan suasana dan kondisi kelas menjadi baik, sehingga proses belajar mengajar dapat berlangsung secara efektif dan efisien sehingga pada akhirnya dapat mencapai hasil belajar yang maksimal. Dalam prakteknya di lapangan pengelolaan kelas dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab sering terjadi berbagai permasalahan-permasalahan yang mengganggu proses pembelajaran dan mengakibatkan hasil belajar tidak tercapai dengan maksimal. Oleh karena itu, sudah seyogyanya bagi para pengajar bahasa Arab untuk mengetahui dan menguasai bidang kajian pengelolaan kelas dengan baik.

Abstract

Iklim birokratisasi dalam dunia pendidikan begitu kental, terbukti dengan begitu dominannya penguasa dalam pengambilan kebijakan pendidikan. Ironisnya kebijakan yang diambil terjadi tumpang tindih khususnya kebijakan yang dulunya sentralistik bermasalah pada kebijakan otonomi pendidikan. Sehingga berpengaruh pada peningkatan mutu satuan pendidikan. Adanya tumpang tindih kebiajakan berpengaruh pada kebijakan yang dilakukan pemimpin lembaga, dalam hal ini kepala sekolah. Karena, maju mundurnya sebuah institusi sangat dipengaruhi oleh kebijakan kepala sekolah. Sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa peran kepala sekolah begitu signifikan dalam melaksanakan program-program yang nantinya akan berdampak kepada mutu satuan pendidikan. Fokus artikel ini mencoba memotret bagaimana peran kepala sekolah dalam MPMBS di SMPN 13 Malang. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan adanya pemahaman konsep MPMBS dengan baik, dengan ditunjukkan kinerja kepala sekolah yang telah mengarah pada pengembangan visi sekolah yang realistis dan rasional. Peran yang dilakukan dalam aktualisasi MPMBS yakni sebagai: (a) manajer: dengan membuat perencanaan, pengorganisasian, menggerakkan warga sekolah serta mengawasi pelaksanaan peningkatan mutu sekolah. (b) pendidik: meningkatkan kualitas guru dengan mengirim mengikuti pelatihan, seminar, dan MGMP. Serta meningkatkan prestasi siswa dengan menambah jam pembelajaran, mengadakan try out, dan mengembangkan ekstrakurikuler (c) supervisor: melakukan pengawasan dan pengendalian dalam meningkatkan kinerja PTK dan menyelesaikan permasalahan guru secara baik; (d) pemimpin: melibatkan warga sekolah dalam pengambilan kebijakan. Dari hal diatas dalam implementasi MPMBS direkomendasikan pentingnya kepala sekolah yang berkemampuan, kemauan dan komitmen yang tinggi kearah kemajuan sekolah yang berorientasi pada kemajuan IPTEK agar tercapai sebuah visi yang telah direncanakan secara maksimal.

Abstract

Pembelajaran bahasa Arab di MA Maarif 7 Banjarwati Paciran Lamongan masih belum terlepas dari permasalahan. Diantara permasalahan tersebut adalah rendahnya prestasi belajar bahasa Arab pada aspek menulis dan merangkai kata/kalimat dan rendahnya motivasi belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar bahasa Arab pada aspek imla. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas, subjek penelitian siswa kelas XI-K IPS MA Maarif 7 Banjarwati Paciran Lamongan tahun pelajaran 2020/2021. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan tes. Sedangkan analisis data menggunakan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa media Teka Teki Silang (TTS) dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar imla bahasa Arab siwa kelas XI-K IPS MA Maarif 7 Banjarwati. Hal ini dapat diketahui dari ketuntasan belajar pada siklus I diperoleh rata-rat nilai 67 persen, dan pada siklus II diperoleh rata-rata nilai 73 persen dan pada siklus III diperoleh rata-rat nilai 93 persen.

Abstract

The climate of literacy in education is increasingly being voiced. To realize the National Literacy Movement, both in the realm of schools, families, and communities, a comprehensive and well-planned strategy is needed. Seeing the importance of reading culture and the lack of interest in reading in Indonesia, the government has launched a literacy movement. The implementation of this strategy is by creating the School Literacy Movement carried out by the Government in the field of education, namely the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System. In Chapter III article 4 paragraph 5, it reads Education is carried out by developing a culture of reading, writing and arithmetic for all members of the community, making policies regarding reading interest. Interest in reading is expected to grow and develop in these students, guided by the policy of the school literacy movement or commonly referred to as GLS. Thus, it is hoped that schools will be able to develop government policies through literacy movement guidelines which will be able to be implemented and developed according to the situation and conditions of the school. This study discusses how the literacy movement policy in increasing students interest in reading at SMA Al-Huda Tuban. This research is a quantitative research. The research sample is class XI students totaling 47 students. Collecting data with the methods of observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Test the validity of the data by using the validity test and reliability test. Data analysis with descriptive analysis, hypothesis testing, Product moment analysis. The results of the study explain that there is a good implementation and strategy that leads to increasing students reading interest. The results showed: (1) The literacy movement policy at SMA Al-Huda Tuban was quite good. The number of respondents was the most among the grouping of scores from the number of respondents 47, which was obtained a score of 71-75 with 12 respondents. (2) Reading interest in high school Al-Huda Tuban has the highest frequency, namely 15 respondents with a mean value of 78.463 mode 80 and a median of 80. (3) School Literacy Movement Program on Student Interest in Reading at SMA Al-Huda Tuban, with rxy = 0.759 with a significance value of 0.566 or 0.56 percents.
