Diabetes Mellitus (DM) merupakan kelainan metabolik yang ditandai oleh hiperglikemia karena penurunan efektivitas dan atau jumlah insulin, akibat gangguan pankreas. Kondisi ini dapat merusak membran penyaring ginjal yang mengakibatkan terjadinya kebocoran protein. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kadar glukosa darah dengan kadar protein pada penderita DM di RSUD Kabupaten Bekasi tahun 2020. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder dari rekam medis penderita DM. Sampel merupakan pasien yang menderita DM yang rawat inap di rumah sakit RSUD Kabupaten Bekasi pada tahun 2020 dan yang melakukan pemeriksaan kadar glukosa darah, protein darah dan protein urin. Sampel diambil secara random dan metoda pengumpulan data secara observasi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji korelasi pearson. Hasil uji korelasi kadar glukosa darah dengan kadar protein total darah diperoleh nilai sig = 0,078 (nilai sig > α=0,05) artinya tidak terdapat hubungan kadar glukosa darah dengan protein total darah. Hasil pengukuran kadar glukosa darah dengan protein dalam urin menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan dimana diperoleh nilai sig = 0,000 (nilai sig < α=0,05), dinyatakan bahwa hubungan kadar glukosa darah dengan protein dalam urin sangat signifikan, dengan arah signifikasi positif artinya semakin tinggi kadar glukosa dalam darah semakin tinggi kadar protein dalam urin. This study aims to determine the relationship between blood glucose levels and protein levels in DM patients at the Bekasi District Hospital in 2020. The research method is correlational. The data used is secondary data from the medical records of DM patients. The sample is a patient with DM who is hospitalized at the Bekasi Regency Hospital in 2020 and who checks blood glucose, blood protein and urine protein levels. Samples were taken randomly and the data collection method was observation.. Data analysis was performed using the Pearson correlation test. The results of the correlation test of blood glucose levels with total blood protein levels obtained a value of sig = 0.078 (sig value > = 0.05) meaning that there was no relationship between blood glucose levels and total blood protein. The results of the measurement of blood glucose levels with protein in the urine showed significant results where the value of sig = 0.000 (sig value < =0.05), it was stated that the relationship between blood glucose levels and protein in the urine was very significant, with a positive signification direction meaning the higher The higher the glucose level in the blood, the higher the protein content in the urine.
