Abstract

COVID-19 is an infectious disease caused by Novel Coronavirus (nCoV). This virus easily infects the population of vulnerable groups and pregnant women are one of them. To prevent transmission, the procurement of large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) in Indonesia led to limited maternal and neonatal care health services. Fearing an increase in morbidity and mortality of mothers and newborns. Research on pregnancy and outcomes of newborns with COVID-19 is stil limited so the authors reviewed the picture of pregnant women with COVID-19 and the outcome of babies at Mitra Husada Pringsewu Hospital for the period 2020-2021.This study uses retrospective descriptive, cross sectional methods by tracing the medical record data of pregnant women with COVID-19 infection who gave birth at Mitra Husada Pringsewu Hospital. Most mothers are in the age range of 20-35 years and have given birth more than once. Births are predominantly by section caesarean section 70%, and only 23.3% of mothers have comorbid disease. Birth weight and APGAR scores are dominated by normal but 6.3% of babies have very poor grades of APGAR. Babies are born 62.5% aterm, and almost all babies show negative results of COVID-19.

Abstract

Endometriosis is a benign gynecological disease characterized by the presence of part of the endometrial tissue outside the uterine cavity. Symptoms that occur in endometriosis can include menstrual pain, painful intercourse, chronic pelvic pain and infertility. The purpose of this study was to see the Profile of Endometriosis Sufferers at Cengkareng Hospital, Jakarta. The research method is descriptive method with a cross sectional approach, where data collection is carried out only once using medical record data. The study was conducted on patients at Cengkareng Hospital, by collecting data for 1 month. Data processing using SPSS version 25. The results of this study showed that 72 respondents found that the incidence of endometriosis at Cengkareng Hospital was in 2021. More endometriosis patients occurred with supporting examinations carried out by ultrasound, Laparotomy and Anatomical Pathology (51.4%), symptoms of dysmenorrhea (56 .9%), age 36-45 years (55.6%), ideal BMI 18.5 – 25.9 (56.9%), nullipara (98.6%), married status (79.2%). The conclusion is that most endometriosis patients are aged 36-45 years, with married status, nullipara, symptoms of dysmenorrhea, ideal BMI, and supporting ultrasound examinations, Laparotomy and Anatomical Pathology.
