<![CDATA[Improving Communication and Collaboration Skills for Class VII Students Through a Multimedia Development Project in Informatics Lessons at the Al-Ma'arif Islamic Boarding School, Bukittinggi. Communication skills are the ability to speak, listen, read and write effectively so that messages can be successfully sent and received without the risk of being misunderstood. Collaboration skills are the ability of individuals or groups to work together with others inside and outside the team to achieve common goals. Multimedia is a combination of text, images, animation, audio, or video to achieve certain results, such as interesting information. Therefore, communication and collaboration skills are important skills that need to be developed to face the challenges of the 21st century era of globalization, and multimedia is a reference or example for exploring them. The results of self-reflection and observation learning show that communication and collaboration skills, which are one of the 4C skills of the 21st century, are still weak. This is clear: students rarely ask or answer questions from teachers, and learning interactions are one-way. Collaboration skills are one of the skills that are very necessary for 21st century learning. This research aims to describe the collaboration skills of students in class VII Information and Communication Technology at the Al Maarif Islamic Boarding School, Bukittinggi.
