Abstract

This study aims to find out (1) to describe the school climate towards staff freedom at the Koto Tangah Padang District Public Middle School, (2) to describe the school climate towards professional interest at the Koto Tangah Padang District Public Middle School, (3) to describe the school climate towards affiliation at the Public Middle School Koto Tangah Padang District, (4) describes the school climate towards support for students at SMP Negeri Koto Tangah Padang District, (5) describes the school climate towards the completeness of resources at SMP Negeri Koto Tangah Padang District. This type of research is descriptive research. The population in the study were teachers at the Koto Tangah Padang District Public Middle School, totaling 72 samples. Sampling using stratified proportional random sampling technique. The instrument used for research is a closed questionnaire using descriptive analysis. The results showed that: (1) the school climate towards staff freedom at the Koto Tangah Padang District Public Middle School was conducive with the highest average of 4.6, (2) the school climate towards professional interest at the Koto Tangah Padang District Public Middle School was very conducive with an average the highest average is 4.75, (3) the school climate towards affiliation at the Koto Tangah Padang District Public Middle School is conducive with the highest average 4.54, (4) the school climate towards supporting students at the Koto Tangah Padang District Public Middle School is very conducive with the highest average is 4.75, (5) the school climate for the completeness of resources at SMP Negeri Koto Tangah Padang District is very conducive with the highest average being 4.67. The conclusion is that the school climate in SMP Negeri Koto Tangah Padang District is conducive from all aspects, namely from staff freedom, professional interest, affiliation, support for students and to the completeness of resources.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil pengamatan penulis dan dilengkapi dengan informasi dari guru mengenai budaya organisasi di sekolah. Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi budaya organisasi, salah satunya adalah gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh data dan informasi tentang 1) budaya organisasi, 2) gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, dan 3) Hubungan gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dengan budaya organisasi di SMK Negeri se Kecamatan Padang Timur. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian korelasional yang mencoba melihat hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dengan budaya organisasi di SMK Negeri se kecamatan Padang Timur. Sampel penelitian ini diambil dengan teknik Proportional Stratified Random Sampling dengan rumus Cochren. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa 1) Budaya Organisasi berada pada interpretasi cukup baik yaitu 3,54 ) gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berada pada interpretasi baik yaitu 4,09, 3) terdapat hubungan antara kedua variabel dengan koefesien korelasi 0,256 dan uji keberartian korelasi 2,0625. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah mempunyai hubungan yang signifikan dengan budaya organisasi di SMK Negeri se Kecamatan Padang Timur.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang tugas kepala sekolah dalam pengembangan kewirausahaan di SMK Negeri se-Kecamatan Padang Timur yang terdiri dari SMK N 2 Padang dan SMK N 6 Padang. Pertanyaan penelitian ini adalah seberapa baik persepsi guru tentang (1) perencanaan pengembangan kewirausahaan, (2) pelaksanaan pengembangan kewirausahaan, (3) evaluasi pengembangan kewirausahaan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah guru di SMK N 2 Padang dan SMK N 6 Padang yang berjumlah 161 guru. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 62 guru dengan menggunakan teknik Stratified Proportional Random Sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah model Skala Likert dengan hasil dan pengolahan datanya memuaskan. Persepsi guru tentang tugas kepala sekolah dalam pengembangan kewirausahaan di SMK Negeri se-Kecamatan Padang Timur dapat dilihat dari penjelasan berikut: (1) perencanaan pengembangan kewirausahaan memperoleh rata-rata 3,95 berada pada kategori baik, (2) pelaksanaan pengembangan kewirausahaan memperoleh rata-rata 3,92 berada pada kategori baik, (3) evaluasi pengembangan kewirausahaan memperoleh rata-rata 4,03 berada pada kategori baik. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa persepsi guru tentang tugas kepala sekolah dalam pengembangan kewirausahaan di SMK Negeri se-Kecamatan Padang Timur terlaksana dengan baik, dengan rata-rata 3,96 (baik).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the service data of School Administration Personnel seen from the aspects of 1) ease of getting services, 2) certainty of service time, 3) accuracy/accuracy, 4) friendliness, 5) responsibilities carried out at SMK Negeri Kota Payakumbuh. This type of research is descriptive research. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri Kota Payakumbuh with a population of all teachers totaling 454 teachers with a sample of 84 teachers. The trial was conducted by 20 teachers outside the sample. To determine the sample size using the Slovin formula with an error rate of 10% with the Proportional Random Sampling technique. The research instrument uses the Likert Scale model with five alternative answers. Validity test using questionnaire and reliability using SPSS (Statistic Package and Social Science) 24.0 for windows program. The validity test of this study used a product moment with a significant level of 5% (0.444) with a reliability test using the Alpha Cronbach formula. The collected data is processed using the average formula (mean). The results of the data analysis showed that the service of School Administration Personnel in terms of: 1) ease of getting services obtained a score of 4.37 (good), 2) certainty of service time obtained a score of 4.43 (good), 3) accuracy/accuracy obtained a score of 4.41 (good) and 4) friendliness obtained a score of 4.31 5) responsibility obtained a score of 4.34 (good). It can be concluded that the service of School Administration Personnel at SMK Negeri Kota Payakumbuh obtained an average score of 4.37 in the good category.
