Abstract

This research is development research that aims to produce Student Worksheets (LKS) with a valid and practical contextual approach so that it is suitable for use in the learning process on arithmetic and geometric sequences. The development design used in this study is the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages, namely 1) the analysis stage, 2) the planning stage, 3) the development stage, 4) the implementation stage, and 5) the evaluation stage. Based on the data analysis results, the following results were obtained (1) the level of validity got a score of 3.3 with very valid validity criteria, (2) the level of practicality got a score of 3.9, with efficient criteria of practicality. Therefore, it can be concluded that the developed worksheets meet the good criteria so that they are suitable to be used as one of the teaching materials that can be used in Arithmetic and Geometry Sequences.

Abstract

Natural Science learning in junior high schools should strive for learning through concrete activities; by presenting natural phenomena in every learning this can increase students' interest in learning. However, in reality, science learning, especially at MTs NW Aik Anyar, still uses conventional learning, making students less motivated in participating in learning. This study aims to determine the increase in science learning motivation of grade VIII students at MTs NW Aik Anyar after the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. This type of research is class action research (PTK) with the subject of the study being grade VIII students with a total of 25 students. Data on students' motivation to learn science was collected by questionnaire. Once the data were obtained, they were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis. Based on the results of data analysis, in the first cycle, the average motivation to learn science of grade VIII MTs NW Aik Anyar students after participating in learning by applying the Problem Based Learning model was 103.81 and was in the high category. The classical completion percentage is 75%. In the second cycle, the average motivation of students to learn science increased to 119.51 and was in the very high category. The classical completion percentage is 95%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning l model is effectively able to increase students' motivation to learn science.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan desain dan kevalidan LKPD berbasis kearifan lokal Lombok pada materi interaksi antar makhluk hidup dengan lingkungannya serta meningkatkan hasil blajar peserta didik terhadap LKPD IPA berbasis kearifan lokal Lombok pada materi interaksi antar makhluk hidup dengan lingkungannya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian model pengembangan ADDIE yang dimana singkatan dari Analyze (Analisis), Design (Perencanaan), Development (Pengembangan), Implementation (Implementasi), dan Evaluation (Evaluasi). Tingkat kevalidan LKPD dilihat dari penilaian aspek kelayakan isi, kelayakan kebahasaan, dan media sedangkan untuk melihat valid/Tidaknya LKPD yang dikembangkan, dengan uji validasi oleh 2 ahli, uji praktisi terhadap 1 orang Guru IPA dan uji coba terbatas 10 orang peserta didik di SMP Negeri 1 Keruak dengan menggunakan angket. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan wawancara, Validasi ahli 1 memperoleh skor 80% dengan kriteria “sangat baik”, validasi ahli 2 memperoleh skor 76,42% dengan kriteria “baik”, validasi praktisi guru memperoleh sekor 80% dengan kriteria “sangat baik”. Validasi uji terbatas siswa memperoleh sekor rata-rata 89,21%, “dengan kriteria sangat baik” dengan perolehan ini LKPD dinilai telah valid dan telah layak diuji cobakan pada peserta didik. Untuk mengetahui meningkat atau tidaknya hasil blajar siswa menggunakan LKPD berbasisi kearifan lokal Lombok, maka dilakukan tahap uji coba efektifitas LKPD, dengan mendapatkan sekor 86,4% dengan kriteria “sangat baik”. Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKPD berbasis kearifan lokal Lombok pada materi interaksi makhluk hidup dengan lingkungannya valid digunakan sebagai bahan ajar di SMP Negeri 1 Keruak
