Background: Hypertension is the condition of a patient's blood pressure which has been measured using a blood pressure meter and obtained results of systolic pressure above 140 mmHg and diastolic pressure above 90 mmHg. Compliance with treatment for hypertensive patients is important because hypertension is a disease that cannot be cured but must always be controlled or controlled so that complications do not occur which can lead to death. Control your health regularly and adhere to taking medication regularly. Purpose: To find out the relationship level of knowledge regarding medication adherence among elderly people with hypertension in the Embaloh Hulu Community Health Center working area, Kapuas Hulu Regency. Methods: This type of research is research analytical observation by using the approach cross sectional, The sample was 38 people. Results: The research results show that there is a relationship level of knowledge regarding adherence to taking medication in elderly people with hypertension with a pvalue = 0.001 (P<0.005), then Ha is accepted. Conclusion: The conclusion of this research is that there is a relationship level of knowledge regarding medication adherence among elderly people with hypertension in the Embaloh Hulu Community Health Center working area, Kapuas Hulu Regency.
