Taman Reptil Adiluhur (TARA) Kebumen is an educational tourism destination featuring various reptile species and nature-based attractions for children. Previously, ticket transactions were handled manually in cash without a systematic recording mechanism, requiring manual calculation of ticket fees and revenue recapitulation, and increasing the risk of calculation errors and inconsistencies in transaction records. This community engagement program aimed to implement a ticket management system to support transaction digitalization and improve ticket management efficiency at TARA. The program consisted of four stages: problem observation and identification, system design and configuration, implementation and partner training, and monitoring and evaluation. The system was successfully adopted through an Android-based application that supports cash and QRIS payments and prints receipts as proof of transaction. It was also integrated with a web-based monitoring application that enables administrators to monitor transaction histories, visitor numbers, and daily revenue. The system supported transaction efficiency by automating ticket fee calculations and transaction recording while enhancing revenue transparency through systematically traceable transactions. A user evaluation involving six TARA staff members yielded an overall evaluation score of 94.4%, indicating a very high level of satisfaction with the system’s performance and ease of use. Overall, the ticket management system successfully supported transaction digitalization while improving the efficiency, transparency, and accountability of ticket management at TARA Kebumen.
