Abstract

The type of fuel used greatly influences vehicle performance. This research aims to determine the performance of Shell Super and Shell V-Power fuel in terms of torque, power, fuel consumption, specific fuel consumption, average pressure and thermal efficiency. Test results using a dynotest show that the maximum power of 15.7 hp occurs when using Shell Super fuel when the engine speed is 9000 rpm. The highest Brake Specific Fuel Consumption is 2,182 x 10-4 Kg/HP Hour when using V-Power shell fuel at an engine speed of 3000 rpm. The highest Brake Mean Effective Pressure, namely 1046.343 kPa, was obtained when using Shell Super fuel at an engine speed of 9000 rpm, while the highest torque, namely 12.44 N.m, occurred when the engine speed was 9000 rpm when using Shell Super fuel. The highest efficiency was obtained at 92.2% when using Shell V-Power fuel at an engine speed of 7000 rpm.

Abstract

The steam generator is vital equipment in oil and gas refinery industry. One of the steam generator equipment in TPPI Refinery other than boiler is Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG). Determine efficiency performance HRSG Unit 822-B202 in this research using compare between energy heat flow for produce steam and energy heat flow from exhaust gas on HRSG stack. The analyze result of efficiency HRSG Unit 822- B-202 when Start-up Commissioning was gotten 96.42%, on September 2021 92.47%, on October 2021 91.46% and November 2021 88.41%. Has occurred decrease of efficiency from start-up Commissioning until November 2021 about 16.95%. Over the past 3 months, efficiency has tended to decrease since commissioning. The calculated decrease in efficiency after commissioning in September was 3.96%. Then from September to October it decreased by 4.97%. However, in November it decreased again by 8.02%. So the accumulated decrease in efficiency of HRSG 822-B-202 during the quarter from Commissioning to November 2021 is 16.95%. So the average decrease in efficiency per month is 5.65%.

Abstract

Background: Digital transformation in the health sector aims to improve the quality and efficiency of services. However, the implementation of SIMRS, RME, and SATUSEHAT still faces various obstacles, such as infrastructure limitations, low digital literacy among health workers, and data security issues. Evaluating the effectiveness of digitization and the factors that influence it is important.Objective: This study aims to analyze the influence of digital transformation and information management on the efficiency of healthcare services at Hospital B.Methods: This study uses a quantitative correlational approach with a Likert scale questionnaire. A total of 57 respondents from healthcare workers and management were selected using purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression after undergoing validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests.Results: The majority of respondents were female (63%), had more than 10 years of work experience (58%), and held functional positions (62%). Digital transformation did not significantly affect service efficiency (p = 0.432), while information management had a significant effect (p = 0.012). Both variables explained 19.8% of the variation in service efficiency (R² = 0.198).Conclusion: Hospitals are advised to prioritize strengthening information management through enhancing human resource capacity, integrating information systems, and developing digital infrastructure. Further research is recommended to explore other variables such as organizational culture and digital leadership

Abstract

Bloodstream infections (BSIs) caused by extended-spectrum beta-lactamase (ESBL)-producing Enterobacteriaceae represent a growing concern in healthcare settings, particularly in tertiary hospitals. These infections are associated with limited therapeutic options, increased mortality, and rising healthcare costs. This study aimed to describe the clinical, microbiological, and economic characteristics of adult inpatients diagnosed with hospital-acquired (HA) BSIs due to ESBL-producing Enterobacteriaceae at Dr. Soetomo General Academic Hospital from January 1 to December 31, 2024. A cross-sectional study was conducted using retrospective data from adult inpatients (≥18 years) with confirmed HA-BSIs caused by ESBL-producing Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, or Proteus mirabilis. Only the first positive blood culture per patient was analyzed. Community-acquired infections and non-Enterobacteriaceae organisms were excluded. The most frequent pathogen was Escherichia coli ESBL, especially among patients from medical wards. BSIs occurred predominantly in medical and intensive care units. Notably, microbiological confirmation of ESBL-producing organisms led to higher claim reimbursements through the national health insurance system, yielding a positive cost margin despite longer hospital stays and expensive treatment regimens. In conclusion, ESBL-producing Enterobacteriaceae remain a major challenge in managing HA-BSIs at Dr. Soetomo General Academic Hospital. While clinically burdensome, accurate microbiological diagnosis also supports optimal resource utilization and insurance claim efficiency in the hospital setting.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan salah satu sektor yang terkena dampak adanya pandemi Covid-19. khususnya pendidikan di tingkat sekolah dasar. Pada masa pandemi Covid-19, pembelajaran sekolah dilaksanakan secara daring. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dilapangan ditemukan adanya penurunan kualitas belajar pada siswa SD. Penurunan kualitas belajar pada siswa SD menjadi persoalan yang perlu mendapatkan perhatian yang serius. Turunnya kualitas pendidikan pada anak SD dapat disebabkan karena siswa belum terbiasa menggunakan pembelajaran secara daring. Penggunaan gadget yang berlebihan ditengarahi juga menjadi sebab turunnya kualitas belajar anak. Dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan upaya peningkatan kualitas belajar anak di wilayah Pabean Cantikan melalui pelatihan aplikasi media pembelajaran bagi guru, pendampingan belajar sosialisasi penggunaan gadget seara bjak pada anak.

Abstract

Masyarakat di Kelurahan Keputih, Kecamatan Sukolilo belum optimal dalam melakukan penanganan sampah, terlihat dari belum dilakukannya kegiatan pemilahan dan pengolahan sampah organik dan anorganik. Komposisi sampah di Kecamatan Sukolilo didominasi oleh jenis sampah yang dapat dikomposkan dan sampah plastik. Sampah yang dibiarkan menumpuk dapat menimbulkan bau yang tidak sedap, mencemari air sungai, tanah, dan  udara, gangguan estetika serta gangguan pada kesehatan manusia. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, Tim pengabdian masyarakat melakukan sosialisasi dan edukasi tentang gerakan pilah sampah serta pelatihan membuat kompos dari bahan sampah organik dengan metode Takakura. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli sampai Agustus 2021 dan diikuti oleh peserta sebanyak 30 orang. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan pemberian materi, diskusi dan praktik langsung dengan pendekatan partisipatif. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan kesadaran masyarakat untuk melakukan gerakan pilah sampah dari rumah, ditunjukkan dari meningkatnya jumlah masyarakat yang menggunakan sarana tempat sampah terpilah berdasarkan jenis sampahnya, yaitu sebesar 60%. Media tempat sampah tersebut memudahkan masyarakat untuk mengolah sampah organik dan anorganik. Tingkat pemahaman serta kemampuan masyarakat dalam mengolah sampah organik menjadi pupuk kompos dengan metode Takakura meningkat dari 21% menjadi 73%. Masyarakat juga berkomitmen untuk melakukan pemilahan dan pengolahan sampah serta mengembangkan produk kompos secara mandiri.

Abstract

Sistem pengapian motor, atau busi memegang peranan penting. Busi berfungsi untuk memercikkan bunga api yang diperlukan untuk membakar campuran bahan bakar dengan udara yang telah dikompresi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui perbandingan torsi, daya, dan KBBS pada motor bensin 4 langkah yang dihasilkan dari busi standar, kaki dua, platinum dan iridium. Pengujian ini menggunakan motor Yamaha Jupiter z. Pengujian unjuk kerja motor dilakukan dengan menggunakan dynotest (dynotest V3.3). Pengujian dilakukan secara bergantian untuk masing-masing busi dengan variasi putaran mesin 4000-10000 RPM dengan kenaikan 250 RPM pada gigi transmisi 3 digunakan untuk memperoleh perbandingan torsi (T), daya (P), konsumsi bahan bakar spesifik (KBBS). Peak torsi tertinggi didapatkan pada busi iridium mencapai 8,75 NM pada putaran 5069 RPM, daya tertinggi dihasilkan pada busi iridium dan busi kaki dua mencapai 8,1 Hp dan 8,1Hp pada putaran 7692 RPM dan 7892 RPM, KBBS terbaik didapatkan pada busi iridium mencapai 0,078 Kg/h.Hp pada putaran 6000 RPM.

Abstract

Prevalensi stunting di Indonesia masih tinggi, sementara akses layanan kesehatan bayi yang terjangkau masih terbatas. Di sisi lain, potensi kader kesehatan perempuan dapat dioptimalkan melalui penguatan kapasitas teknis dan kewirausahaan untuk menghadirkan layanan berbasis rumah yang relevan dengan kebutuhan masyarakat. Tujuan utama program ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kader kesehatan dalam memberikan layanan home care baby spa sebagai upaya menurunkan prevalensi stunting melalui pendekatan berbasis komunitas. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif melalui tahapan analisis kebutuhan, pelatihan teknis pijat bayi dan hidroterapi sederhana, serta pelatihan kewirausahaan yang mencakup manajemen usaha dan pemasaran digital. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur perubahan tingkat pengetahuan, serta observasi langsung selama praktik untuk menilai peningkatan keterampilan peserta. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada kapasitas kader. Sebelum pelatihan, mayoritas peserta berada pada kategori kurang, sementara setelah pelatihan sebagian besar mencapai kategori baik dan terampil. Kader juga berhasil menyusun rencana usaha sederhana serta mulai memanfaatkan media sosial sebagai sarana promosi layanan. Efektivitas pendekatan partisipatif dalam meningkatkan kapasitas teknis dan kewirausahaan kader. Peningkatan keterampilan dan pengetahuan tidak hanya berdampak pada aspek individu, tetapi juga berpotensi memperluas akses layanan kesehatan bayi di tingkat komunitas serta memperkuat peran perempuan dalam wirausaha kesehatan. Program ini menunjukkan bahwa penguatan kapasitas kader melalui pelatihan teknis dan kewirausahaan dapat menjadi strategi yang relevan untuk mendukung penurunan prevalensi stunting dan memperkuat ketahanan keluarga melalui layanan kesehatan bayi berbasis komunitas.

Abstract

The livelihood of the majority of residents of Sukolilo Baru Subdistrict, Surabaya, is fishing. There are around 126 fishermen in the area whose main catch commodities are sea cucumbers and rebon shrimp. In certain months, namely May, June and July, it is the harvest period for these fishermen where the catch of rebon shrimp is so abundant that on average every fisherman who goes to sea will come home with 40-50 kg of rebon shrimp. One of the processed products The seafood produced from rebon shrimp and currently being developed by local residents is shrimp paste. This shrimp paste is produced using equipment and technology that is still completely manual, namely by pounding it so that it is not optimal to be able to process large quantities of rebon shrimp. In this research, our Research Team will design tools and machines for pounding rebon shrimp with modern, semi-automatic technology that are adapted to the level of needs of the Kenjeran Baru Sukolilo fishing community based on surveys that have been carried out.
