Abstract

Virus Attack 3D is a 3D platformer game that visualizes humans running to avoid Coronavirus attacks encountered on a path with increasing speed at each level. The player's character dies upon collision, but the game continues with increasing score and level if the player successfully avoids the viruses. This research aims to design Virus Attack 3D, incorporating health-themed education. The application is built using the C# programming language in the Unity application for a more strategic experience. Virus Attack 3D is a platformer game that serves as the research output. The entertaining Virus Attack application offers a game enjoyable for all ages, training players' spontaneous response and dexterity in overcoming challenges while providing entertainment on desktops in single-player mode.

Abstract

A 2D platformer game, console dash is a game that tells the story of Dax, a curious game character, jumping out of his console to go on an adventure. He goes through difficult levels, collects objects and meets new friends. They form a team and fight a villain named Glitch. The aim of this research is to design a 2D Console Dash platformer game with an adventure genre that is interesting and also quite difficult to complete. This application was created using the Godot game engine with the GDScript programming language. The method used in this final assignment uses the MDLC model software development method, and uses the SWOT method for system weakness analysis. The final result of this project is a 2D platformer game that plays smoothly and provides an enjoyable gaming experience. Console Dash offers attractive graphics, music and sound effects that liven up the atmosphere of the game, as well as challenging levels to explore. Moreover, this game has an intuitive interface and responsive controls.

Abstract

This study aims to integrate technology literacy into the learning process through an interactive approach packaged as an educational game application developed using Scratch. The game is designed with a question-and-answer system to stimulate players' awareness of their abilities and enhance their curiosity about technology. Players will earn points as rewards for successfully answering questions posed by the game's characters, offering both engaging entertainment and educational value. Through "Game Edu IT," this application is expected to provide an enjoyable learning experience while broadening users' knowledge of information technology (IT) in a playful manner. The game is designed to increase learning interest and improve users' understanding of technology literacy, establishing it as an effective educational tool.
