Abstract

Smart Economy It is a concept of urban management innovation that is able to face economic competition in creating business opportunities, utilizing existing resources efficiently and improving the city's economy. This research aims to identify the implementation of the concept of Smart Economy through 6 indicators, namely economic growth in the leading sector, business licensing Online, small industry centers, MSMEs that are integrated with e-marketplace, a creative populist economy and a cashless. The data used in this study are secondary data and primary data with descriptive analysis methods. Based on the results of the analysis, it shows that the concept of Smart Economy has not been fully implemented and is still in the monitoring stage, but the researcher concluded that there are obstacles in the research, namely the completeness of data and the existence of obstacles in several programs so that further studies, government and private support are needed to maximize the concept Smart Economy towards Smart City in Balikpapan City

Abstract

This research aims to find out the business sectors that have the potential to be developed further as an effort for Samarinda City to become a Buffer City for IKN. This type of research is quantitative using secondary data derived from the annual report published by BPS. The data used in this study is data time series for 6 years from 2018-2023. The analysis technique used in this study is the analysis Location Quotient (LQ), analysis Shift-Share, and Quadrant analysis processed using Ms. Excel. The results of the study show that there are 14 base business sectors and 3 non-base business sectors and in Samarinda City. And there are 6 business sectors that have the potential to be developed in supporting the development of IKN

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of the existence of airports on the income of Samarinda airport taxi drivers. This type of research is qualitative descriptive. The data taken by the author is primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques are in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the existence of APT Pranoto Airport, which is characterized by many flight routes, complete facilities, and its location far from the city center, has a positive impact on the income of airport taxi drivers. However, there are other factors that also affect taxi driver income such as the number of airplane passengers, demand for airport taxis on holidays, differences in taxi fares, and competition with online transportation modes
