Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) remains a serious public health problem in Indonesia. In rural areas with limited infrastructure, conventional disease monitoring methods hinder effective dengue prevention. This study aims to design and implement a Web-Based Geographic Information System (GIS) to map the distribution of DHF cases in the working area of Puskesmas Karya Maju. The system is developed using the Agile method through stages of observation, system design, implementation, and testing. The application is built using Laravel, MySQL, and Leaflet.js and includes features such as interactive maps, patient and village data, and real-time statistical visualization. Black Box Testing ensures that all features function correctly. The results show that the system helps improve dengue surveillance and facilitates better decision-making for prevention.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology has driven various innovations in public services, one of which is through an Android-based digital system. This study aims to design and develop a Digital Mail Service Information System in Sukajaya Village, Palembang, to overcome the problems of long bureaucracy, lack of transparency, and limited public accessibility. This system provides solutions for administrative management, such as submitting domicile certificates, business certificates, and other letters, with superior features in the form of user registration, service submission, and real-time monitoring of application status. The methodology used is a prototype, which involves the stages of communication, planning, modeling, construction, and system testing. The system is designed using Java for Android application development and MySQL as a database. The test results show that this system is able to make it easier for the public to access services, reduce administrative process time, and increase the efficiency of village employees. This study concludes that the implementation of an Android-based information system can provide significant benefits, both for the community and the village government, in building modern and technology- based governance. This system is also expected to be a model for other villages in improving public services digitally.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze customer review sentiments towards Pempek Cek Ida products ordered through the GoFood service on the Gojek application by utilizing the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm. This study has two main objectives: classifying customer review sentiments into positive and negative categories, and evaluating the accuracy of the applied classification model. The data used in this study consisted of 135 customer reviews collected manually through data crawling in the period 2020–2022. This research framework uses the SEMMA (Sample Explore, Modify, Model, Access) method. The analysis process begins with a preprocessing step, including cleansing, case folding, tokenizing, filtering, and stemming, to prepare the raw data. The data is then weighted using the Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) method before being classified using the SVM algorithm. Model evaluation is carried out using a confusion matrix to calculate accuracy, precision, and recall, and validation using K-Fold Cross Validation. The results of the study show that the SVM algorithm has good performance in classifying review sentiments with a high level of accuracy with an accuracy level of 70.88. This research provides strategic benefits for Pempek Cek Ida in understanding customer perceptions, improving product quality, and making service improvements based on customer sentiment data. In addition, this research also contributes to the development of the application of machine learning-based sentiment analysis methods in the culinary sector.

Abstract

The development of information technology in the era of globalization has had a significant impact on various aspects of life, including education. The use of technology in education aims to facilitate academic management in higher education. Universitas Indo Global Mandiri utilizes this technology through an academic information system called NewLecturer. This system is designed to support lecturers in various academic activities such as filling in grades, viewing schedules, uploading learning materials, and printing Lecture Minutes (BAP). Previously, the Lecturer.uigm.ac.id system was used; however, it had limitations in sharing learning materials, so it required integration with the E-Learning System. With the launch of Newlecturer in the odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year, lecturers can now access various academic services on one platform. However, since its implementation, there has been no measurement related to the level of lecturer satisfaction with the NewLecturer system. This study aims to analyze the quality and level of lecturer satisfaction with the system using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) approach. The results of the study are expected to provide valuable input for the evaluation and development of the NewLecturer system, aiming to improve the quality of academic services at Universitas Indo Global Mandiri.
