Abstract

The objective of the research is to design a decision support system for selecting shipping services to the eastern region of Indonesia. The method used is the simple additive weighting (SAW) method, which considers four criteria: Admin Service, Shipping Price, Shipping Speed, and Goods Security. The alternatives for the courier companies used are Jastip Barakati, Jastip Alf, Jastip Duo Amir, and Jastip 42. The research results, based on SAW method calculations for the four existing alternatives, show scores of Jastip Barakati (0.295), Jastip Alf (0.948), Jastip Duo Amir (0.923), and Jastip 42 (0.836), with Jastip Alf being the first choice due to its highest score. As for the criteria, the highest priority is on the item security criterion.Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk merancang sistem pendukung keputusan pemilihan jasa pengiriman barang ke wilayah timur Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode  simple additive weighting (SAW) dengan empat kriteria yaitu Layanan Admin, Harga pengiriman, Kecepatan pengiriman dan Keamanan barang. Alternatif perusahaan pengiriman barang yang digunakan yaitu Jastip Barakati, Jastip Alf, Jastip Duo Amir dan Jastip 42. Hasil penelitian berupa hasil perhitungan metode SAW terhadap empat alternatif yang ada menunjukan skor Jastip Barakati (0.295), Jastip Alf (0.948), Jastip Duo Amir (0.923) dan Jastip 42 (0.836), sehingga pilihan pertama dengan skor tertinggi yaitu Jastip Alf. Sedangkan untuk kriterianya, prioritas tertinggi pada kriteria keamanan barang.
