AbstrakKegiatan pengabdian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan literasi siswa di SDN 2 Pelangan karena keterbatasan fasilitas perpustakaan dan kurangnya penataan koleksi buku. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan literasi siswa melalui Pendampingan Pengelolaan Perpustakaan Sekolah. Kegiatan dilaksanakan bersama SDN 2 Pelangan dengan melibatkan dosen dan mahasiswa selama satu minggu melalui tahapan diskusi, penataan koleksi buku, pelabelan dan penataan ruang baca. Evaluasi dilanjutkan melalui observasi,wawancara, dan survei pada guru dan siswa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengelolaan perpustakaan, dan peningkatan minat baca siswa sebesar kurang lebih 35% berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara. Program ini juga meningkatkan keterlibatan guru (soft kill pengelolaan perpustakaan) sebesar kurang lebih 40% dalam mengelola koleksi buku dan memanfaatkan perpustakaan sebagai sarana pembelajaran. AbstractThis community service activity is motivated by the low literacy skills of students at SDN 2 Pelangan due to limited library facilities and inadequate book collection management. The aim of this service is to improve students' literacy skills through School Library Management Assistance. The activity was conducted in collaboration with SDN 2 Pelangan involving lecturers and students for one week through stages of discussion, book collection arrangement, labeling, and reading room organization. Evaluation continued through observations, interviews, and surveys of teachers and students. The results show a significant improvement in library management, and an increase in students' reading interest of approximately 35% based on the results of observations and interviews. This program also improved teachers' involvement (soft skills in library management) by about 40% in managing book collections and utilizing the library as a learning resource.
