Abstract

Flooding is one of the natural disasters that frequently occurs in Indonesia, causing material losses and loss of life. To support early warning systems and risk mitigation, accurate flood prediction is needed. This study focuses on applying the Tsukamoto fuzzy logic method to predict flood potential in the Blitar Regency. The choice of this method is based on its ability to handle data uncertainty and produce more accurate predictions through the rule-based defuzzification process. The main variables analyzed include rainfall, river discharge, and regional characteristics that influence the likelihood of flooding. The results of the study show that the Tsukamoto fuzzy logic method can predict flood potential with a high level of accuracy, which is in line with findings from previous studies. It is hoped that this fuzzy logic-based prediction system can provide an effective solution for early warning, reduce the impact of flooding, and support decision-making in flood disaster mitigation in the Blitar Regency.

Abstract

Tourism plays an important role in driving regional economic growth, especially in areas with natural potential that has not been optimally developed. XYZ Tourism is one of the destinations that offers natural attractions such as tea plantations, waterfalls, and camping areas. However, the management of this destination is still carried out manually, resulting in problems such as difficulties in ticket booking, visitor data recording, and financial transactions that are inefficient. This research aims to design and develop a modern and efficient web-based tourism management information system along with an API to address these issues. The system is built using Next.js as the frontend framework, Prisma as the ORM for database management, and is integrated with Midtrans for digital payment processing. This system also provides an API to facilitate integration with other services or applications in the future. The results of the system development show increased operational efficiency, easier access for visitors, and higher accuracy in managing visitor data and transactions. This system is expected to support digital transformation in the local tourism sector and enhance the competitiveness of tourist destinations in the digital era.
