PENGARUH POLITIK IDENTITAS ETNIS TIONGHOA TERHADAP KEMENANGAN AMINULLAH USMAN-ZAINAL ARIFIN PADA PILKADA 2017 DI BANDA ACEH

ABSTRAKSalah satu catatan penting berkaitan dengan dinamika politik di kota Banda Aceh adalah Partisipasi politik masyarakat etnis Tionghoa meningkat pada Pilkada tahun 2012 sebesar 11% dibandingkan tahun-tahun pilkada sebelumnya, Keterlibatan etnis Tionghoa dalam hal Partisipasi mereka secara idividu dalam memilih kepala daerah pada pilkada Aceh 2017, menjadi kekuatan politik penyumbang suara bagi calon walikota Banda Aceh sehingga berpengaruh terhadap kemenangan calon tersebut. Menurut data yang tertera pada website KPU (Pilkada 2017.kpu.go.id.13 Mei 2017), bahwa pasangan Aminullah-Zainal memperoleh kemenangan suara sebanyak 877 di gampong Peunayong dibandingkan pasangan Illiza-Farid yang hanya memperoleh suara sebesar 88, dimana wilayah gampong peunayong  tersebut 70% dihuni oleh etnis Tionghoa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami proses pertumbuhan politik identitas etnis Tionghoa Banda Aceh pada pilkada Aceh 2017 serta pengaruh dan kepentingan politik identitas etnis Tionghoa terhadap kemenangan Aminullah-Zainal pada pilkada 2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan Kualitatif deskriptif.. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pertumbuhan politik identitas etnis Tionghoa di Banda Aceh pada pilkada 2017 ditandai dengan adanya tingkat partisipasi etnis Tionghoa dan mobilisasi massa yang dilakukan oleh HAKKA untuk mendukung pasangan Aminullah- Zainal pada masa kampaye pemilihan walikota 2017. Hadirnya HAKKA membuat kesadaran politik etnis Tionghoa meningkat dalam memperjuangkan aspirasi Etnis Tionghoa, dalam mempengaruhi kebijakan yang akan dibuat oleh pemerintah melalui elit-elit politik.Kata Kunci: Etnis Tionghoa, Politik Identitas, Pilkada 2017, Aminullah-ZainalTHE POLITICAL INFLUENCE OF ETHNIC CHINESE IDENTITY TO THE VICTORY OF AMINULLAH USMAN-ZAINAL ARIFIN AT ELECTION 2017 IN BANDA ACEHABSTRACTOne of the important records relating to the political dynamics in the city of Banda ACEH is the political participation of ethnic Chinese society increased in the elections in 2012 by 11% compared to the previous years of regional elections, ethnic Chinese involvement in Their participation was in the case of selecting regional head in the Aceh election of 2017, becoming the political power of voting donors for the prospective mayor of Banda Aceh to influence the victory of the candidate. The purpose of this research is to understand the process of political growth in the ethnic Chinese identity of Banda Aceh in the 2017 ACEH election and the political influence and interests of the ethnic Chinese identity of the victory of Aminullah-Zainal in the 2017 election. The study uses qualitative descriptive methods of approach.. The results of this study showed that the political growth of ethnic Chinese identity in Banda ACEH at the 2017 elections was characterized by a level of ethnic Chinese participation and the mass mobilization carried out by HAKKA to support the partner Aminullah- Zainal at the time of campaigner election 2017 mayor. The presence of HAKKA politics made the ethnic Chinese political consciousness increased in the fight for ethnic Chinese aspirations, in influencing the policy to be made by the Government through the political elites.Keywords: ethnic Chinese, identity politics, election 2017, Aminullah-Zainal
