Regulasi Emosi Pada Ibu Single Parent

Abstract

Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses regulasi emosi yang dilakukan ibu single parent dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penggunaan regulasi emosi sebagai akibat dari peristiwa yang menimbulkan emosi. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan metode observasi dan wawancara yang dilakukan kepada subjek dan significant person. Subjek penelitian yaitu dua orang ibu single parent berusia 45 tahun dan 48 tahun. Emos iemosi yang dialami oleh ibu single parent diantaranya emosi sedih, cemas, marah, rindu, menerima dan harapan dirasakan hampir seluruhnya oleh subjek. Proses regulasi emosi yang digunakan subjek antara lain pemilihan situasi, perubahan situasi, penyebaran perhatian, perubahan, perubahan respon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ibu single parent mengalami berbagai macam emosi antara lain emosi negatif seperti depresi, stress, berdiam diri, menangis, sedih, dan marah yang ditekan, selain itu juga merasakan emosi positif seperti sabar, ikhlas, menerima, pasrah, bahagia dengan melihat anak bahagia. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penggunaan regulasi emosi antara lain perbedaan individu, kognitif, stressor, keadaan sebelum suami meninggal, lingkungan sosial dan keluarga, serta religiusitas. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah kemampuan regulasi emosi setiap individu berbeda-beda dipengaruhi oleh perbedaan individu, kognitif, stressor, keadaan sebelum suami meninggal, lingkungan sosial dan keluarga, religiusitas. Kata kunci: regulasi emosi, single parent ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to investigate the process of emotion regulation performed single parent mothers and the factors that influence the use of emotion regulation as a result of events that cause emotions. In this study, using qualitative methods with phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques in this study is to use the method of observation and interviews conducted by the subject and significant person. Research subjects: two single parent mothers aged 45 years and 48 years . Emotions experienced by single parent mothers emotions including sadness, anxiety, anger, longing, and hope to receive almost entirely perceived by the subject. Emotion regulation processes used by subjects include the election situation, change the situation, deployment of attention, cognitive changes, changes in the response. The results showed single parent mothers experiencing emotions such as negative emotions such as depression, stress, withdrawal, crying, sad, angry repressed, positive emotions such as patience, sincerity, receive, surrender, happy to see the kids happy. Factors affecting the use of emotion regulation include individual differences, cognitive, stressors, circumstances before the husband died, the social and family environment, religiosity. The conclusion of this study is the ability of each individual emotion regulation vary influenced by individual differences, cognitive, stressors, circumstances before the husband died, the social and family environment, religiosity.
