<![CDATA[ABSTRAKMasalah yang dihadapi oleh penderita kusta berasal dari diri sendiri, keluarga dan komunitas, hal ini berdampak pada aspek fisik dan konsep diri sehingga mempengaruhi interaksi social. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan body image dengan interaksi sosial penderita kusta yang sedang menjalani pengobatan. Penelitian menggunakan korelasional dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Variabel independen adalah body image dan variabel dependen adalah interaksi sosial. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh penderita kusta yang sedang mengjalani pengobatan yaitu 36 orang. Teknik sampling yaitu teknik total sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan diuji menggunakan Spearman-Rho Test. Hasil menunjukkan 19 responden menunjukkan body image yang negatif dan interaksi sosial yang buruk adalah 14 responden. Uji Spearman-rho menunjukkan p= 0.02 (α<0.05) sehingga terdapat hubungan antara body image dan interkasi sosial penderita kusta yang sedang menjalani pengobatan di Dusun Sumber Glagah, Tanjung Kenongo, Pacet, Mojokerto. Kusta tidak hanya hidup di lingkungan tetapi juga perlu sosialisasi dengan masyarakat, interaksi yang buruk dapat menyebabkan penderita kusta semakin tertekan di PB yang akan menimbulkan masalah baru dalam pengobatan kecacatan yang akan jatuh kepadanya. Keluarga dapat memberikan dukungan keluarga dalam pengobatan kusta sehingga penderita kusta akan lebih termotivasi untuk menyembuhkan lebih cepat sehingga untuk menghindari penilaian negatif terhadap dirinya dan mampu membangun interaksi sosial yang baik dengan masyarakatKata kunci: body image, interaksi sosial, kustaABSTRACTThe problem that’s facing of leprosy can give both from theirself, family, and community, giving influence on aspects of psychic lepers and self concept that will affect in social interaction. The purpose of this research is to know the relationship of body image with social interaction lepers who were undergoing treatment. This analytical research design korelasional type crossectional. Research variables i.e. body image as the independent variable and the dependent variable as social interaction. Population research are whole lepers who were undergoing treatment at the village of Sumberglagah Tanjung Kenongo Pacet Mojokerto as much as 36 lepers. Samples taken with the total sampling techniques. Data collected by questionnaire instrument and tested with test spearman rho. The results showed of the 19 respondents experienced a negative body image that was experiencing poor social interaction there are 14 respondents. Spearman rho test results retrieved data ρ = 0.02, α = 0.05 so that ρ < α means accepted H1 so there is a relationship of body image with social interaction lepers who were undergoing treatment at the village of Sumberglagah Tanjung Kenongo Pacet Mojokerto. Leprosy was not only live in the environment but also need to socialization with society, a bad interaction can lead to increasingly depressed lepers in PB which will cause new problems in the treatment of disability that had be fallen him. Family can provide family support in treatment of leprosy so that lepers would be more motivated to heal faster so as to avoid a negative judgement against him and be able to establish a good social interaction with the community.Keywords: Body Image, Social Interaction, Lepros.
