<![CDATA[AbstractMicro-enterprises are small-scale enterprises in the form of informal sectors such as retail traders, street vendors, small farmers, and household enterprises. The financial problems in with the characteristics of SMEs are due to the low quality of human resources (HR), low labor productivity, low quality of produced goods, the lack of capital structure and the access to strengthen the capital structure, the lack of innovation and the adoption of new technologies, and also lack of marketing access to potential markets. Financial literacy can affect small micro businesses in terms of business development by effective financial management, so the SMEs can save the profits. The hope is through financial literacy both in Central Java and DI Yogyakarta, the empowerment of SMEs can perform well so that the welfare and development of their business increase.Keywords: HR, Manpower, Quality of Goods, Capital, Innovation, Access, Financial Literacy, SME.AbstrakUsaha mikro merupakan jenis usaha skala kecil yang berupa sector informal seperti pedagang eceran, kaki lima, petani kecil, dan usaha rumah tangga. Masalah keuangan dalam kehidupan yang berhubungan dengan karakteristik UKM karena rendahnya kualitas sumber daya manusia (SDM), rendahnya produktivitas tenaga kerja, kualitas barang yang dihasilkan relatif rendah, lemahnya struktur permodalan dan kurangnya akses untuk menguatkan struktur modal tersebut, kurangnya inovasi dan adopsi teknologi-teknologi baru, kurangnya akses pemasaran ke pasar yang potensial. Literasi keuangan bisa mempengaruhi usaha kecil mikro dalam hal pengembangan usahanya dengan pengelolaan yang efektif justru bisa menyimpan untuk ditabung. Harapannya melalui literasi keuangan baik di Jawa Tengah dan DI Yogyakarta kondisi pemberdayaan UKM bisa berjalan dengan baik sehingga kesejahteraan dan perkembangan usaha mereka meningkat.
