Status ekonomi keluarga yang rendah menjadi salah satu faktor pencetus terjadinya karies gigi dan status gizi anak. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah mengetahui hubungan status ekonomi keluarga dengan karies gigi dan status gizi anak di SDN 02 Gading Kulon Kecamatan Dau Kabupaten Malang. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan cross sectional. Populasi adalah semua anak di SDN SDN 02 Gading Kulon Kecamatan Dau Kabupaten Malang dengan sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 74 anak yang di ambil dengan teknik proporsional stratified random sampling. Instrumen penelitian karies gigi dan status gizi menggunakan lembar observasi dan instrumen status ekonomi keluarga menggunakan kuesioner. Analisa menggunakan fisher’s exact test. Hasil penelitian didapatkan keluarga dengan pendapatan dibawa UMK sebanyak 54,1%, anak yang mengalami karies gigi sebanyak 74,3%, dan yang mengalami gizi baik sebanyak 86,5%. Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara status ekonomi keluarga dengan karies gigi (p-value = 0,000 0,05 ). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan antara status ekonomi keluarga dengan karies gigi anak dan tidak terdapat hubungan antara status ekonomi keluarga dengan status gizi anak. Low family economic status is one of the triggers for dental caries and nutritional status. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship of family economic status with dental caries and nutritional status of children at SDN 02 Gading Kulon, Dau District, Malang Regency. The design of this study was cross sectional. The population is all children in SDN 02 Gading Kulon, Dau District, Malang, with a sample of 74 children taken by proportional stratified random sampling technique. The results showed that families with income brought by UMK were 54.1%, children with dental caries were 74.3%, and those with good nutrition were 86.5%. It can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the economic status of the family and dental caries (p-value = 0,000 0.05). It can be concluded that there is a relationship between the economic status of the family and dental caries of the child and there is no relationship between the economic status of the family with the nutritional status of the child.
